Got to feel sorry for the Masons at this time.

How on Earth do they recognize each over while they are still developing a funny elbow shake?

At the weekend in Kelvingrove Park Glasgow people were out sunbathing despite the stay at home guidelines.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said "sadly, two people have tested positive for HYPOTHERMIA".

Guys im going to look at this null and void scenario from the sevco point of view. (something they would never do) .
Their whole argument here is we haven't EARNED the title and therefore don't deserve it.
Well if that is the case then you have to EARN the chance to challenge again so their argument falls as usual.
This tainted stuff is a desperate attempt at sullying our title if it falls that way.
We all want to earn it but its just not up to us, so no matter the decision just get on with it, more important things are happening.
Let me give them a few examples of how we have earned it if it is given to us.
Alan Wells won 100m gold with no USA athletes there, does he care? No he has got a gold medal.
Joe Frazier got the Heavyweight champion of the world while Ali was not allowed to box, do you think he cares?
No he was the champ.
Do you honestly think if someone won the 100m gold if Usain Bolt was injured wudnt take it as he wasn't the best lol.
Best of all is they share a title with Dumbarton which they claim even though Dumbarton had better goal difference.
There is no bounds to their boldness, heck they even allowed their club to die in pursuit of happiness.

If the title goes down as tainted then that is not the fault of Celtic and it is out of our control. Their tainted 5 titles was their own fault and it was under their control but they chose to cheat instead of downsizing.

Would Steven Bradbury be a good example? The whole speed skating field fell over and he skated through to win the Olympic gold medal! Sevco have fallen short due to their poor form since the winter break and have slipped further behind in the league! Like spoilt children they can't handle that and are looking for any excuse to null and avoid season!

They didn't restate the Olympic final the competitors who fell were adult enough to accept the result!

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Apr 2020 20:11:27
Sevco will cry foul whatever is decided. If the fixtures are completed they will no doubt say that if there hadn't been an interruption then they would have won it, or if the remaining games are played behind closed doors they will say it isn't how football's meant to be played so it doesn't count.
When you get a club that cheated and conned their way to titles and then have the nerve to say that our titles are tainted then there is nothing which would make them accept our ninth title in a row.
A lot of them and their friends in the press were virtually claiming the title during the January break when they were 2 points behind us with a game in hand so being a minimum of 10 points ahead shouldn't leave things in any doubt.

Agree2 Disagree0

07 Apr 2020 00:24:02
Whether the remaining games are played or if we are announced as champions by the football authorities, the bottom line is Glasgow Celtic are the 9 in a row champions and deservedly so and that is a fact.

Agree2 Disagree0

07 Apr 2020 11:23:53
Gerry it is well known "Fact" they are the best team when no football is being played. Ofcourse they are only 4 points behind now as they have pumped us twice in their tiny minds so league is not done lol.
Honestly they never ever ever learn, its not us they need to worry about its hearts and accies they can't beat.
Over in laffland pages they continually say we are obsessed with them, maybe so but i've always said both supporters are obsessed. They are obsessed hating us while we are obsessed laffing at them.
Meanwhile their club is talking about Celtic again, now that is obsession as our club never mention them. In fact the club could talk about accies and hearts just as much as they are about the same threat.

I can't see it being a null and void season. I maybe wrong but if it is does that not mean it technically did not exist and the relevant prize money would not be awarded.

The only team that maybe happy with that would be Hearts although the money would an issue.

Sevco are delusionally happy because if it's void it beaks nine but if the season didn't exist then it breaks nothing and of course they also want the money.

Another point to note what would happen with UEFA regarding European competitions if we go against UEFA.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

06 Apr 2020 18:09:05
Would it mean sevco and every other team paying back st money no prize money. and if it's void it doesn't break 9iar cause it didn't happen so next year we're going for 9 but let's hope that's not the case.

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Apr 2020 19:04:28
I still don’t think null and void is an option that’s being considered.
I also don’t think UEFA have the power to ban clubs from their European competitions next season. A top Dutch lawyer confirmed it is not legally possible because of the details in Uefa’s own rule book.

My preferences in order for this season with the options available.

1) Play remainder of games even behind closed doors

2) Null and void whole season

3) Get awarded title.

I would rather start next season going for No9 than be awarded title in unfinished season.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

06 Apr 2020 12:43:03
Sorry stevie but cannot agree with that. the first one is spot on but void the season before we get awarded the title is way off! We play 30 games this season and are winning it at a canter but just void it as if those 30 games meant nothing! Na not for me at all mate. yes we want to win it on the park and nobody would choose to win it in this manner. but to say that all our hard work and utter domination counts for nothing and give that lot across there a Chance next season that they’ve neither earned or deserve is way way off!

Heard a suggestion on the radio (SSb) a couple of weeks ago. Thought it was mad at the time but now I'm not so sure as it looks increasingly more difficult for the fixtures to be completed normally so. He suggested that all remaining fixtures be decided on penalty shoot outs. Limited players and staff involved with every one screened first etc. Many fixtures could be settled at the same time in the same venue. Sounded daft at first but if we need to finish it somehow, then why not? Penalties have been used to decide world Cup finals, so surely they can be used to settle a league? I'd fancy our chances with Fraser in goal anyway.

Stevie we've been the best team over 30 games are 13 points clear and 25 goals to the good no way do we allow this to be voided.

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Apr 2020 16:46:25
Not for me TheBhoyWonder. Too much of a lottery. If a team can play 30 games with the same resources as the other teams in the league and build up a far superior points total, then that is all lost within a 10 minute spell? Can't and don't want to see it happen.

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Apr 2020 17:11:43
Danny I see what you're saying and totally agree we deserve the title this season as we have utterly dominated the league, but you know and I know we will forever be reminded we were handed No9. I feel if we are awarded it we would need to reach 11 for full bragging rights.

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Apr 2020 17:41:29
Null and void is never going to happen. Only the Rangers and Hearts want it. That lot lost 4 out of their last 5 games.

Screening all players coaches backroom staff officials tv crews would be ideal but testing seems to be for the elite and privileged. All health workers should be done first but yet it's still not happening. Guy from my area died from covid the other day and 1 of my mates from years ago is in Intensive care so take care and stay safe. 🍀.

Stevie they will taint 9iar no matter what happens. That mob are praying for season to be voided as they know their team morale will be rock bottom due to obvious problems.

Stevie who really gives a toss what they say if we get this seasons title! They know and we certainly know that the league was coming to one place and one place only and that’s paradise! The way the season was panning out for both teams their was only one winner! And we would have been winners of the league by at least 15 points! So while not the ideal way to win it the null and void argument is a total non starter for me! That mob across there will never give us credit for anything! Old squinty eyes is convinced we are only on 2 in a row! The EBT years have made sure that anything that lot come out with to discredit us will mean f**k all!

The only suggestion more ridiculous than the Void season was the banger from Ibrox who suggested we should rewind the season to the half way mark as the was the only fair way to go do it.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Apr 2020 14:38:16
I’d personally prefer to finish the season off, how about finishing it whenever safe, even if that’s late July and have a shorter season next year to make up for the shortfall. Say 30 games next season, as long as everyone knows it before they could prepare for it. No matter what anyone on here says the Rangers and the press will always refer to this season as unfulfilled . Finish it, win it and shut them up . The only issue I could see there is European places but maybe have to accept the position where we are now unless we can play the games before July.

The two things that will almost destroy Scottish football as we know it, is null and void season and wait indefinitely until we are able to complete season .
Null and void, team like Rangers 2012, Hearts and others cannot survive as they need the SPL. payouts to help to survive until, football starts up next season whenever that is .

Wait until football starts up again and complete season . This can’t be done either as the not knowing when the restart is going to happen again means the cash poor clubs (most of the SPL) clubs cannot exist under these terms . Rangers2012 have no banking facilities, most of the rest cannot go to Bank and say we want money every week from such a date, until sometime they don’t know . They don’t know when they will be able to move players on.

Guys one of the girls friends gets Universal Credit she gets £317 a month. A couple both on it get £495 monthly. Not great but it opens up access to other benefits I think.
Hope that helps.

They phoned today and its monthly. I got a bit more than expected, it varies on your circumstances. My wife is a student nurse and I've got 3 kids, 2 I can claim as kids. They're giving me £1300 pm. I was shocked it was that much but bare in mind any other benefits like child tax credits will stop.

They will give u an advance too which u pay back monthly interest free. If they haven't offered it to anyone u can apply online through your journal, if uv set up an account ul know what I mean by journal. Hope this helps.

So if eufa throw out any club that pulls the trigger and names champions. am thinking all the smaller nations like Scotland Holland Belgium Denmark Norway there will only be the 5 big nations that they want and that would get very monotonous so a hope they all call there bluff.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

06 Apr 2020 13:40:10
I'd love to see the big 5 as they like to be known left to it and the rest of us start our own comps without euefa and see how long it would be before they came crawling back as a great man once said football is nothing without fans.

seen a few posts about the feckwits who don't get the message as to how serious this is. Usual tripe like "No wee virus is going to stop me" (like they don't understand they could be getting it and passing it around? ) The the "Only have a 2% chance of catching it! " THAT beauty was summed up by this analogy.
"If I gave you 100 of your all-time favourite sweets and told you that 2 of them contained a deadly poison. How many would you risk eating? ".
