Cheers Steph, there were other things that happened - my mum and dad met at one of the turnsiles as he was the Chief Stand Steward and she was collecting at her dad's turnstile for the Sisters of the Poor. My dad's job was to let the turnstile operators know when to close as that section of the stand they were servicing was full. Ironic that most of my family came from the east end - Dennistoun area and I was born a 2 minutes drive from Ibrox.

Guys what do you all make of this suggestion to get the remaining games played all over Europe.
UEFA are considering the following safety measures being in place before all european leagues restart hopefully mid June.

Games will be played behind closed doors.
ALL players must wear a face mask, mask MUST be in team's colours and must also have each player's number on it.

ALL player's MUST keep 2 metres apart from each other on the field of play, to help with this new ruling the referee and two linesmen will all have a tape measure on their persons and have the powers to enter field of play to enforce this ruling. Also if a player scores a goal within 2 metres goal will be DISALLOWED and player cautioned.
Next there will be a new SANITISER BREAK, similar to a water break on hot days, when at the referee's discretion, play will be halted for 5 minutes to apply more hand sanitiser.

One of the more important rules is ALL clubs MUST employ a dermatologist who can enter field of play, similar to a physiotherapist, to inspect any player's hand to make sure enough gel has been applied. This could effect a stadium's safety certificate as UEFA are insisting on dermatologists at every stadium, any club not employing dermatologists will be refused a safety certificate and banned from any UEFA and FIFA sanctioned leagues and tournaments.

No association wants the season made null and void and all 55 are wanting the leagues finished. Not good news for the null and void loyal.
