No one will ever convince me that sending stokes and henderson to hibs and buying Allan plus bringing in cole and CKR was a good idea.
Not his biggest fan sometimes but stokes murdered that lot today and wee henderson with two assists. After henderson came on only one team looked like winning.

Lower calibre opposition. Stokes has never stepped it up to level beyond SPL. Henderson is a great wee player though.

BR will give him his chance. What sort of a manager brings in the like of Allan and Cole and farms out Henderson and Stokes.

Davie Bhoy there were times when we were struggling at league level this year.
No way both cole and CKR were better than stokes on the park.

Henderson is a much better player for that loan than he would have been sat on a bench with us. Let's not rewrite history.

Coulda/ woulda/ shoulda. Hindsight is a brilliant thing. If LH hadn't went on loan, he wouldn't have hit double figures in terms of appearances.

And that would have been down to managerial choice . not players ability. Which sums up where we are coming from .

TPP I agree, Henderson has developed because of his time away on loan.
Imagine Henderson made a couple of mistakes - would the fans have gave him sympathy? Or would he have got a serious knock to his confidence?
This way he has gone out and proved himself and grew in stature.
Look at Christie been out playing regularly and now he looks as if he could do a real job next year.
I think he could be a striker.

Henderson was that good before he went.
He was good enough to play against inter Milan and set up the equaliser and win a title medal with rosenborg.
He was only sent out so we could get the pointless signing of Allan.

Put it this way lads we all know Henderson and Stokes going out and Allan and Cole coming in was baffling but on the bright side they helped in a big way to stop Scotland's newest club from lifting their first major trophy. Pmsl

The thing that has surprised me all season is why Henderson has frequently been on the bench for many of Hibs more important games . Surely Hibs are a Championship side and if Henderson is Celtic quality, he should be starting all the important games.
