I have little doubt that Dane Murray will be developed in the future and will be a very important player for Celtic . However based on his age and injury record it would be crazy to put him under too much pressure this season and I think Celtic actually have for once, been very clever and have taken Pusey on loan to either reduce the pressure and workload on Murray, or to let Murray spend this season in a less pressure environment.

So, we’ve taken a 19 yo reserve from another club to take the pressure off ( stunt the development of) one of our young players. Don’t see any positive in that!

Chasaboy . You are missing the point, perhaps deliberately.
I am pretty certain that B Rodgers does not want to put Dane Murray under too much pressure this season, as he has recently had two seasons or more lost through injury .
Most supporters would think BR was completely right not pushing D Murray too much this season, to give him a better chance of making a full recovery from injury and that is why he signed Pusey on a full year loan .
Surely that makes sense or would you prefer BR to probably go against our Health Fitness and Conditioning dept and push Murray so hard that he picks up another injury .
When people want to criticise BR and or recruitment team they will find some angle for doing so. In this case they are criticised for bringing in player to help another player recuperate from injuries . Most times they criticise Board for not signing players.
