We seem obsessed with wingers, as in the traditional sense of a winger. Most of the top teams that play a front 3, don't play with wingers. Pep's Barcelona had Messi, Suarez and Neymar. Klopp plays Salah, Jota, nunez, and used to have Mane and firmino. Only Diaz at Liverpool now could be a traditional winger. Man city do similar with 3 forwards rather than a striker with 2 wingers. I don't think we need to change formation but a wee tweak with Idah up top, with Maeda and Kyogo as inside forwards, real width comes from full backs. I think this could just throw a lot of opposition managers and give us a slight edge.

It also means we don't need to play any of our wingers but they could maybe be game changers as 2nd half subs.
