Why do clubs like Kilmarnock during the present economic crisis be happy to have 9,000 empty seats, when playing Celtic and Rangers. I was at the game yesterday and couldn’t believe the amount of empty seats, I’m not sure how much money they lost with this attitude but it must be close to £250;000,financially it doesn’t make sense.
{Ed007's Note - I've been saying for years that smaller clubs should move all their season ticket holders to one section/stand of the stadium and give others up until a week before the match to buy their ticket in that section/stand and then sell the rest to Celtic & TRIFC to maximise the capacity and the money coming in.
Obviously there would be some moaners but surely if it's earning your club more money you wouldn't mind too much and having all of their fans together would help with the atmosphere as well.
They could even offer fans that move their seat some kind of incentive like draws for invites to hospitality for another game, a free programme & food voucher for the games they're moved for or even a free ticket for any other game during the season which would help with crowds and might even bring in new fans or even season ticket buyers.}

Why couldn't they just have season ticket holders half price ticket for celtic and OFFC visits as they will be able to make up for the shortfall through the extra tickets sold to the visiting supporters?
