GO CELTICS
My Irish cousin in Boston is beside himself as you can imagine, after his beloved Boston Celtics won the NBA Eastern Conference title last night.
He was not confident as the Celtics have failed to even make playoffs or went out early past 3 years, so to WIN it was special in his eyes.
We Tims could have told him not to worry, as any team with CELTIC in their name and playing in the famous GREEN always had a great chance.
Only Golden State Warriors now stand between Celtics and the overall NBA Title.

I’ve been keeping an eye on their results the last few weeks Tim.
I knew it was 3-3 but I forgot about the deciding game until I seen your post.
The Celtics also won the last round 4-3 after coming from behind,
So they have that “Fighting Irish” about them.

Went to a game to watch the Boston celtics in the garden a few years ago while on honeymoon. One of the best atmospheres l have even been in. The noise was unreal and the stadium was class. Loved ever min of it. Always keep an eye out for their results too.

@Buzz yes but I believe the term "Fighting Irish" and the other chant "You'll never BEAT THE IRISH" were coined by Notre Dame fans, although today their college football team has very few Irish lads and majority are Black Americans lol
@Ter161 I have been lucky enough to go to The Gardens a few times and it is electric, I would say to everyone put it on your places to visit. GO CELTICS.
