I don't see how Rangers would have pulled out unless they had a water tight case to do so. To pull out without due diligence of the contract would be a case of gross negligence on behalf of their legal team.
I hope it's true TT as that would be a total hoot and as it is Rangers and court cases then anything is possible I suppose.

Kwaj - if you had been involved in several litigations that has cost you money would you not make damn sure you're not caught with your pants down again? Just like shares - past performance is no guarantee of future results. When every penny is a prisoner it would be hilarious if this was to cost them money through legal negligence.
If they haven't gone over the contracts minutiae then Hell mend them, and I hope it would be the £5m penalty as stated.
However the result goes, the legal bills will not be insignificant in any case.
It could all have been avoided if they had not given in to the pressure from the tennis ball throwers. I have booked a ringside seat for this one in any event.

Loving the fact Dave King has stitched the current board up like a kipper and potentially cost them up to 8 million (5 for breaking deal and 3 in lost revenue) . Not only that the fans love him for it but let's not forget they loved him after he killed oldco by voting against the CVA. Gullibillies indeed.
