Appreciate we are in a far healthier place as a team than we were this time last year but I think taking the players on winter training camp to Portugal, as reported, as opposed to Dubai, can only be a good thing.

Absolutely no difference Dubai or Portugal IMO last year was bad taste as no one else was travelling anywhere this year is different but if they come back with C.V. outbreak hell mend them.

They're just back from Hungary and have already been to Portugal, maybe you don't catch it when your playing in Europe ?.

I would much rather Dubai than Portugal for the team, it is known to them and the facilities are absolutely top notch. I was in Dubai a few weeks ago, everywhere is quite strict on wearing your mask, sanitizing your hands, extra cleaning routines and so on, I think the weather at the time of year they are going is also miles better than Portugal and will condition the team better going from cold Glasgow to warm Dubai.

Was it not rumored that the Dubai CV outbreak was due to a few players going clubbing during the camp? Can't see that happening under Ange's watch.
