Good win tonight but some serious work needing done.
If we go against a good team with that set up we will get pumped. Even in the league it will cost goals.
Lennon also needs to bite the bullet and get over his problem with Sinclair. Total joke how little he's using him.

Sinclair guarantees goals but Johnston played well. Let them fight it out. Morgan played well but turning to him ahead of Sinky was a slap on the face.

It's the hold up play in the final third that we need to improve, we sit too high up the pitch when we are trying to pass our way through teams, leaves less space to run into, far too compact, drop deep and get in behind with the pace, Eddy is such a frustrating player, his hold up play is so weak.
However the season has only begun, plenty time to build on this performance. Bad conditions, bad challenges, good result.

I see it the other way. Brown was droppong to get the ball off 3 defenders that had nobody near them. We had 4 players before you got to their 1st.

There's not many would have had the imagination to finish that like sinc we need to use him more imo but young Mikey and Morgan done really well.

Other than his goal Johnstone was anonymous aarbee.
The bhoy has talent but against good teams he will be bullied out the game.

We are still going back and sideways playing needless passes have to get the ball moved forward quicker with better movement off the ball better sides will expose this weakness.

I am delighted with the result after what I witnessed in the first 30 mins.
Once again we were slow in the first 30 minutes, its becoming something of a pattern
I didn't like how we set up in that period away from home in Europe, the channels were too exposed and I don't think we looked comfortable. I was also worried about the state of the pitch, so I wasn't enjoying the game at this point.
The last 60 minutes we were brilliant, all 14 players played their part. We looked more comfortable with the 4 at the back. I liked the look of Boli, I think he will do well.
We took our goals really well and its amazing the amount of goals Sinclair scores from inside about 8 yards out. I think that goal was for Kev for Keeping The Faith.

Kev83 no matter how much you champion Sinclair the fact of the matter is his performances have been dreadful for the last two seasons. Yes no doubt he can pop up with goals but his performances are nowhere near the level of the bar he set three seasons ago. He has forgotten how to beat a player. Lenny was perfectly justified in selecting Mikey Johnstone and it completely paid off as him and Christie were our biggest threats and what a wonderful goal from MJ.

Ice man how come it's ok for Johnstone to be anonymous for the whole game except when he scored but you slag Sinclair off for it?
As usually it's double standards from a lot of Celtic fans who love a scapegoat.

Sinclair has been anonymous for two seasons. Johnstone looked our biggest threat along with Christie when they got on the ball last night. I don’t dislike Sinclair at all but the fact is his performances have been well below average for two seasons and now Johnstone is getting an opportunity and quite rightly so.
