MRS T HAS GIVEN ME A WARNING
If you have ex bear pals like me you probably have had them in your face laughing at Lennon's appointment. They really believe Stevie Gee will turnover Lennon and are openly boasting about winning the title next season.
My two ex bear pals and of course The Suit have money to burn (they claim they all won more than they lost to me in the game at Ibrox which was a FAIR AMOUNT) I have already been offered silly amount bets from all 3.
But the voice of reason Mrs T has told me to limit any bets I take on and on no account will she and the girls bankroll me, despite our holiday being paid solely from winning bets from the 3 stooges.
I have been told, nay ORDERED, to save up my money and ONLY my money, to gamble with.
I keep trying to tell the good lady that they keep betting with their heart and believe all the hype dished out by a pro sevconian press, which is why I have been so successful, but she is not for turning (just like a certain other Mrs T lol)
But I WILL take them on and will raise the stake, I just hope the pawnbrokers except old watches. and hope i am lucky to qualify for a "provi cheque" (younger posters ask your dad lol)

They can scoff at lennys appointment Tim but the reality is he's achieved more in management in 3 months than slippy did all year but they are deluded they think they've had a great season and won nothing and the points gap was the same as last year as well.

They could put could coco the clown as manager and against our rubbishty appointment would stand a chance, and I don't use the word rubbishty lightly I can't understand why anyone would see this is anyway positive move failure at Bolton and hibs yet such a talented individual that they didn't even speak / interview anyone else because obviously as Lennon made that much of a superb job with team playing brilliant football that board couldn't possibly upset him and let the next Guardiola leave our club for having the audacity to speak to better coaches. I mean already it's bringing so much negativity to us the Sevco must be howling just now.

Listen coybig and old man Chris I'm 47 my dad took me to my first game when I was 6 months old against Clyde Bank as I was told which he got a rollicking from my mum but believe me I love celtic but never posted anything on these forums but have read them for years for any transfer gossip so believe what you want but please never say I'm follower of Satan's select, just honesty think we have made a major boo boo with Lennon and I pray that I'm wrong because there won't be anybody happier if he proves me wrong but fear he hasn't the ability my friends, Sevco are a bad lot but we are getting dragged down to their level, the positivity like signing the belgian atalanta full back for 9m which won't happen now as they have qualified for champions league to looks like old man Lustig to me has disappeared. Coybig in I would like an imaginative appointment, because we can't compete financially with other leagues so rather than constantly bleet and moan about this put a coaching structure management system in place that can make players better, I'm sure I read recently that there is over 100 players playing pro football that came through Ajax academy I for the life of me can't understand we can't use this model as we have a style of football that fans associate with being the celtic way which is to play football properly which I think is the Ajax way so if we have good quality coaches in surely it will make better players, Rodgers is a good coach but I think his ego took over and it was total football without footballers if that makes sense, I mean if you read about stein talking about teams back in the day he would pay respect to them and instruct his team to act out his instructions then we can enforce our game on them, so back to why you think I'm a cream bun my friend not ever just thinking we have been sold short and it doesn't make sense, especially because he hasn't done anything in last couple of months to think wow he has evolved as a coach and we are are now getting a better coach that left us, I mean I have never heard of any trips to Spain, Germany, Italy or whatever to improve himself it's called being professional and being the best you can unless you think are already which from the outside must be true as I've said before I personally think good teams mirror their coach.

Even if they got 3 or 4 top class players even though I think we need 7 - 8 in, with your hand on your heart honestly think that they will be getting improved by Lennon, Parker, Kennedy the whole thing is upsetting because I went through their dodgy 9 in a row and we stopped it yes we stopped them not them giving it up because they where desperate to do it, but it now looks like we are self sabotaging.

Do we not have a good coaching structure at the moment? Can you tell me how many players have come through the Celtic academy that are currently playing professionally? You say that Rogers is a good coach. I don’t dispute that but what I do dispute is your unsubstantiated claim that Lennon is not. You said that he has done nothing in the last three months to think he has evolved as a coach. He has worked with Rogers players and achieved a win ratio of 71.4%. Roger’s only managed a win ratio of 69.82% with the same players. In Lennon’s first spell at Celtic, his win ratio was 70%. That’s also better than Rogers win ratio but when Lennon did that, he was working with a fraction of the budget that Rogers had. In summary, that means Lennon is better at winning games than Rogers and that’s why he got through the group stages of the Champions League and Rogers failed to do it. If you want a real headline, Neil Lennon beat Barcelona 2-1. Rogers got pumped 7-0. Now, I’m case this has escaped you, I’ll explain what I’ve just done. I’ve put forward an argument with facts to back it up. You, by contrast, have spouted unsubstantiated pish attacking our manager and I find it difficult to comprehend why a Celtic fan would do that. Perhaps you could explain that to me.

K72 there is not a manager on the planet who would have been a success at Bolton, a basket case of a club administration hanging over them for years by spending money they didn’t have, (ring any bells this side of the border) as for Hibs other than their first Scottish cup win in 114 years what else have they done . Im not standing up for Lennon, he wasn’t who I wanted so give him a few games to see how things are going in the coming season. oldkilly.
