Should the new manager have a look at Andy Carroll? yes he has injury problems, but I think he would be good in the Scottish game.

Woah, Ed. I don't know if I'm interpreting that GIF wrong, but tell me that isn't a cheeky hint. Happy Birthday as well mate. Have a great day and may the fourth be with you.

{Ed007's Note - Thanks mate. No it's not a hint, I thought Donny was joking!.}

Carroll would be a fantastic signing for many clubs if he could stay fit but it's for that same reason he'll struggle to get a decent move from West Ham. He's just one of those players who can't seem to put half a dozen games together and that's why we will never sign him. HH.

Ed, I'm not joking, the Celtic backroom staff seem to do a good job with other injury prone players, why not Carroll? all it's going to cost us is his wage and signing on fee, plus the new treatment table just for him :)

Just back from Celtic Park. Had to go over and pay my respects to big Cesar. Wonderful turn out, but that was never in doubt. Our support is truly fantastic, and I'm sure big Billy would have been smiling down on the scene that greeted his cortege this afternoon. We truly are faithful through and through.

I remember as a youth/ early teen heading up with the CSC. Sometimes we'd go to his bar. Seemed whenever we went he was in and would always come over, shake hands and ask how the group was. He remembered faces and you could see he knew what it meant, as a fan himself, to be a hero to people. My memory of the man is basically that he was never short of time for people and he deserves a send off like that.

Big Virgil has probably been the best player in these islands this season . Wednesday showed he is capable of leaden footed defending . As the ball was about be whipped in, he was seen looking at Squarez who sprinted past Virgil and flicked the ball home .
A great goal for Barcelona, but there is no doubt many Celtic "negative experts" would have ridiculed Lustig and whoever were our centre defenders and would have demanded none of the three to be allowed to play for us again.
I thought it was a great goal &! even if Virgil was slow to react, credit should be given for the creation and scoring goal, more than faulting defence .

Sometimes you've got to give the striker credit he ran between both cbs and it was a great finish and it was a great ball as well.

Chris your always going on about negative posts but your always looking for ways to stick the boot into celtic fans even when your making stuff up.

Naw Stepbhoy, nothing could be further from the truth, I have often spoke about the small amount of Celtic fans who jump on the club about everything, or defending, new strips and either praising or condoning Scottish referees .
Mallythetally67, is exactly right about the goal, I can't remember Celtic fans on here or elsewhere praising an opposition goal, always Lustig or centre defenders to blame.

Its easy to praise a goal against another team, its almost impossible to do it against the team u love. Complaining about poor defending or not liking a strip is not jumping on the club by the way, its any fans right to do so.

You are so right Stepbhoy and believe it or not supporters are allowed to support, encourage and try to help individual players and team . It never does any harm.
