Heard the Rangers won 4-0 mate and as usual they were absolutely sensational. Didn’t see any of it myself so can’t comment.

They were pretty good going forward. Still don't think they have been tested in defence but they looked solid enough. It's going to be a good test for us this season but if we manage to cover all the positions we all know needs strengthening then we will be strong enough to defend our title.

I'm more concerned about our goalkeeper/ defense situation as although they lack the same quality as us, they have a settled defense and have had a more confidence building pre-season to be honest.
It's incredible that we are a week away from defending the title without a top class keeper and an unfit, in-disciplined striker.

They play the same players and tactics every game. Outwith their starting 11 their squad is no where near good enough to challenge us for the title.

Good Evening guys. I am new to the site and this is my first post.
I noticed that Edouard is again being linked with Arsenal. If Celtic were to sell him to Arsenal, or any other club, what signing could Celtic make that would make up for his departure, and still give the fans confidence of securing 10 in a row? Just looking for thoughts and opinions, though I know a lot of people would rather he was not sold.

I think he will sign a new deal and stay at least for this season.
If Arsenal came in for him we should be accepting no less than £40M. Could do worse than demand Martinelli as part of the deal.

Apparently the Arsenal fans (and others) are pissin themselves at the absolute bargain price they paid us for KT; so I sincerely hope any player that goes to SLY Subsidised Soccer, goes for a more realistic fee in relation to todays overhyped market?

Barkas is one of several goalkeepers we could sign, that may or may not do a good job for us . Lucky for any incoming goalkeeper, he won’t be put under any undue pressure at Celtic to play every ball to a back four member. I think it was when the Man City manager started that with Hart his confidence faded away from him and hasn’t returned. DeGea was regarded a couple of years ago as World class . Now still a young keeper he has deteriorated at a very fast rate and is hardly EPL class.
It’s a gamble signing a good keeper that will do a good job for us, so we might well need 2 as Bain is really about 3 rd class keeper for club like us.

One name I heard today was Joe Lewis from Aberdeen. In my opinion we need to aim a bit higher than this. The boy Barkas seems to have good potential but need to be honest I have never heard of him.

We need to hit the ground running with transfers sooner rather than later. we need players in before the season kicks off. PL should be making sure that this is one of the most important seasons in celtics history and the so called challengers shouldn't be taken lightly.

As every year, if we are looking to sign specific players, we cannot sign them until the holding club is ready to sell them and they are ready to sign for us .
It would appear we could have already signed Hart, but I think we are probably trying to sign someone better.

I think Bolingoli has 'played himself' right out the door during the French tour and I know a few others were far from 100%. However, NL looked very perplexed and frustrated at the amount of errors etc.

Just watched some of the highlights from yesterday, in the years of watching that cretin Neymar I have no idea how no one has actually grabbed him and knocked him out. Messi, R9, Ronaldinho to name a few of the best dribblers in the world and I love watching them, Ronaldinho and R9 obvs a few year back but watching Neymar actually pains me! What a horrible horrible person.

There has always been wind-up merchants in our game. Going back in time we had WGS, W Johnston and in England Joey Barton, and Savage and Diouf.
There has always been hateful persons playing the game and I suppose a case could be made for Neymar as the biggest Bast. rd of the lot.
