According to the daily r. ange to go into isolation and Kennedy/ Strachan to take first day for preseason. I think they are there to stay in some capacity even if he brings his own staff in. what do my fellow hoops think.

It will only be a temporary measure and good portion of squad will not be there due to involvement in Euros so no problem with a bit of familiarity for the very short term and new Gaffa in place when majority of squad return.

Maybe a bit of familiarity, will not be a good thing, a clean break needs to be made with the old first team coaching system, let the youth coach take pre season, or whoever, just someone to emphasise that the old ways are gone.

This transfer window is depressing not only does it look like we could lose Harper and Dembele on pre contracts if we believe the daily rags and with the pitiful excuse of an apology coming from pl it looks like we need a whole new way of restructuring at the club form top to bottom and it needs to happen asap.

It is very depressing that we aren’t linked with anyone even, one can only hope that it’s because there is a change coming . With regards to the fact that we could potentially lose Harper and dembele, too add to the ones that have gone to Munich and Man City already this season, again maybe a change in coaching could tempt some of the young lads to stay. That is of course if they are actually good enough, I can’t think of many more than Robertson who has been shelved by us and gone on to better things . We have to remember prob 98%don’t make it anywhere near the top of the game.

Now that the transfer window is about to open why are we not matching genk on the funds for mackenzie. this is Lennons possibly last chance to really make an impact. we need a couple of good signings and yes I would love paddy back at the club. could be a rejuvenated player and push forest when he gets back.

Given the fragility at the back including the goalkeeper I'm not sure a 5ft10, 20 year old centre back from a league as weak as the MLS is what we are needing to be honest. I've seen a few people on here talk about the boy McKenzie but apart from on here I've never heard of him. What's he got that's so special? Is he a full USA international?

McKenzie isn’t the tallest for a CB, he’s exactly 6ft.

Admit know very little about the boy but I've read plenty on him and by all accounts he's a star and the best cb out there. oh and he can pass the ball as well and has pace something we severely lack just watch julien chasing the boy yesterday.

So am I right in hearing that West brom have had a bid accepted for the boy from Brentford of £3 million. We best be trying to match that if we want the boy after we had a £2.2 mill bid rejected a couple of weeks ago. I trust lennon but get the feeling we could be going for 2nd rate players again. It honestly baffles me how an opinion can be made when they haven't even seen the guy play! All because he isn't the big money stand out European right back we've went for, think people also forget it's not as easy as signing players on fifa or football manager, convincing top players to come to this league can be a very difficult thing to do.
Yes, the guy may turn out to be a poor signing, or he could be a great signing or just about solid enough but I think until then when he's played and had a chance all the negativity from the plastic fans should have a lid on it, wouldn't be surprised if it's the same people who barely go to the matches every week.

It's too early to start worrying about (build-a-new-bear-every year) TRIFC 2012 as they have still won nada, zilch, hee-haw since formed.
Their manager has never won a title and is yet to prove anything to anyone over a full season.
However, as I said earlier, We need to improve our own squad and add real quality in key areas ASAP; Celtic have been over the course for a decade and need to maintain the standards they have set.

Buzz, the artificial surfaces are acceptable if you're lucky enough to play on them on a wet day, unfortunately for us yesterday was bone dry and there wasnt a hope in hell of Killie giving it a hose down. It's a tactic that's well used against us when we play on those surfaces. In my opinion they should be made to heavily water before game and again at half time for safety reasons but you can't blame Killie for using this tactic as a levelled.

Prospects are easier to get
Hasbeens are even easier to get
Injury prone players easier still
And

The problem we have now is. yes we could be looking at our targets and have then in on time but we have been down this road so many times you get the fear off panic buying due to just over 36hrs left in the transfer window and players may still leave and leave us weaker. even if Mor hadn't left surely the board and BR would have been looking at the other positions we needed. I know we got our lb but what about the our positions. sorry Ed it gets so frustrating.
