I got mixed up thinking the Europa final was in Lisbon and not Cologne.
I’ve visited both cities watching Celtic when I was a youngster.
Cologne was the first time I’d came across St. Pauli fans outside the Cologne Cathedral.
It was great to visit the stadium where we won the Big Cup in Lisbon.
Two wonderful cities although Celtic lost both games 2-0.

But we then went on to beat FC Koln 3 0 in the return, john Collins with the winner .

And of course we lost 2 0 to sporting in Lisbon and beat them 5 0 in the return ( albeit I was far too young for that one but enjoy watching it now and again on YouTube.

I was at the game Cadete scored twice to put us out.
It was still a brilliant visit and hopefully I’ll get the chance to go back.
I remember Celtic were lucky to escape only losing 2-0 in the 80s and then we hammered them at Celtic Park in the return leg.

Would love us to play Ajer, Julien and Bitton in a back 3. Think Bitton gives the back line much more balance and the other 2 are capable enough if they only have to focus on defending. Just give it to Nir and let him step out and make passes.

Agree Ntcham has to start for me if it's in a 3-5-2. I would have liked to see us try Dortmund formation with a 3-4-2-1 if our other strikers ain't up to speed yet. That way could have got both Christie and Moi as AM in behind Eddy and Forrest and Taylor as wing backs.
