Just seen the SFA have declared the 'Resolution 12 matter' closed with no further action being taken.
Why Celtic never pushed this all the way, I will never know?
It may be seen as a sweetener after yesterdays celebrations, but I'm sure if the SPFL was our one official footballing body, they might have not been so obliging after the recent tantrums and timewasting by TRIFC.
SFA = Sevco-Friendly-Allies.

I can't understand it also why Celtic don't insist on justice Unless they know that It would bankrupt and ruin Scottish football if they pressed it? But still If I was Celtic I would at least want them to give a full apology for the EM mistakes that happened in the run up. I hope they have learned their lesson from that.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 May 2020 18:02:02
Another thing is why is it the SFA that is / was doing the investigation when it was about the SFA and oldco surely they should have moved it to an independent investigation? Will Celtic except the outcome? Or will they insist on an apology or more stringent rules for clubs to get a licence to play in Europe?

Agree1 Disagree0

19 May 2020 19:00:37
If the Res 20 folk sets up crowdfunding to take this on, they can count on me. This was a fraud committed against paying customers. How can the SFA be allowed to decide on matters that they are accused of?

Tony2bhoy only reason that mob were allowed to (in my opinion) reform in 3rd division is old firm revenue from tv rights etc.

On subject of tv revenue old firm generates for sky and pay per view, it would be interesting to find out. Have always thought SPFL should of revisited idea of own broadcasting network on both tv and streaming. Surely would only enhance our game due to increased revenue.

Lawell has previously said he's not interested. The scam ignored when all the evidence is there. Robertson still not sacked, Park not hammered for his mad rant at Doncaster yet everyone is against that lot.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 May 2020 20:51:44
I would think Robertson will get voted off the SPFL BOARD or asked to step down surely. Going by the statement that the SFA released about the issue it would have to go to CAS that could bring down the SFA with costs alone maybe that is why Lawell won't push it But I do hope he has pushed for more stringent measures to be put in place for the future like now.

Something rotten about the announcement this evening .
As far as I know SPFL has had Resolution 12 for some years now . It seems very strange that the announcement was made within 36 hrs of the announcement re League winners announced .

There are some glaringly obvious questions that need to be asked but are not being asked:

1. What is in the 5 way agreement?

2. Has the 5 way agreement influenced the recent decision?

3. Why do our footballing authorities no longer have jurisdiction to investigate a club in its association for wrong doing?

4. Why have our own board not supported Resolution 12 and used their influence to get this heard?

5. Was there any other person, club or organisation complicit in granting Rangers a European License?

6. What was the legal advice given to the SFA that told them it was not worthwhile pursuing this at CAS?

Feel free to add more questions if you can think of them.

So, some we numpty filmed himself breaking into ibrokes and planting a 9 in a row flag on the center circle. Now while I get the light heartedness of this, remember, we are Celtic. The media will use this to deflect and take some shine from our record breaking achievement (2 x 9 in a row) . No doubt those down ibrokes way will point to vandalism, breaking and entering (would not be surprised if they exaggerate the damage) and Police Scotland will be full force on this. Some wee security guard may lose his/ her job - maybe even security company. In addition, the good name of Celtic will be soiled by a silly act. Sorry to be a wee bit of a killjoy but tell me I am wrong in what I have said.

I thought it was hilarious. He should rightfully be reprimanded for trespassing and might even owe them a few quid for that days work they had doing their state of the art pitch. But it is pretty clear there was no real harm intended. Bhoys will be bhoys. Well played.

guess Im wrong. Maybe been in incident investigation too long. Most are telling me I have lost my sense of humour so, I am big enough to admit I am wrong and that all parties concerned will see this for what it was, a wee bit fun.

Are any of the channels screening a review of the season or some sort of tribute to The Champions X 9?
I know SLY and BBC Scotland have been showing SPL and Cup highlights from past years (usually defeats ha ha)
Don't get BT so don't know about them? However, this magnificent achievement deserves a wee bit more recognition, reflection and appreciation for all concerned.
Or is the media still in mourning?

Nine in a row - Nine in a row - so sweet we've won it twice.

A great feeling today to be a Celtic fan and add another glorious chapter into our history. Well done Neil and the boys you done us proud on the park.

Let's add that Scottish cup too if we can and really turn the screw. I hear that the powers that be want it played out.

Remember that all this talk of asterix etc is merely a measure of the hurt and frustration that serial losers feel about their own clubs inadequacies. The sub text of any asterix will be that CV19 saved our closest competitors from a serious ass whipping, bigger points spread than last season, saved their managers job, allowed them to cling to fantasies disproportionate to their actual ability on the pitch and allowed them to continue to squeeze SOMETHING/ ANYTHING from a season that had about as much chance of success as I had with Linda Lusardi back in the day.

If they have a face like a bucket of smashed crabs over it then so be it, but we made history - AGAIN.
