If the reports are correct why were Celtic pursuing the Roma goalkeeper after Barkas signed. Bain is a good enough back up goalie.
I hope it isn’t true but maybe the coaches haven’t been convinced with Barkas after having a closer look. Probably silly paper talk.

Reading that Celtic are looking for £15m for Ajer. Think that's a decent figure in today's market for a young, reasonable player. What's the betting he'll go and play in his best position and end up a multi-million £ player. £15m with a 20% sell-on would be reasonable.

Selling Ajer and replacing him with Colley is a downgrade in my opinion. Fair enough the guy is playing in Serie A but that doesn't make him a world beater, look at Bruno Alves .

Agree Buzz although he's been playing out of position he's started the season off in fine form. Think playing on the left and the standard of the league is holding back his progression and when he does move on he'll turn into some player.
