Kairat V Bratislava is goalless at halftime.
It was a non event with very little quality on display.
Maybe it's due to the plastic pitch.
If need be,
I remember Idah having his best overall Celtic performance on the plastic pitch at Kilmarnock.
It was the night we won the league with another 5-0 victory.

It finished 1-0 to Kairat with a very soft late penalty.
Bratislava went down to 10 men with about 30 minutes remaining but still neither team looked like scoring until the home team got a dodgy penalty for a push.
A few negatives about the possibility of meeting Kairat.
Kairat will be more than halfway through their season, they play on a plastic pitch and the travelling.
The big positive is Kairat are a poor side and I would say Bratislava are worse.

You’re right Ken about Villa being Idah’s best game for Celtic.
His hold up play and 2 goals were outstanding that night.

Idah is not good enough to be a centre forward in a top class team, that night he scored two good goals that were breakaway goals, but goals that didn't need any great amount of skill, or invention or intelligent play, he is the worst main striker we have had in many a year .

You seem to have a very short memory.
Idah was good enough to come in on loan and help us win the league, he was also good enough to win us the Scottish Cup against Sevco that same year and he was certainly good enough to score 20 goals for us last season.
Don't look at the amount of games but minutes played per goal.

Aindoh one of the goals that night was top class a volley when he had no right to even get a connection, hive the guy some credit he's scored big goals against sevco none nore than the winner in the cup final, he'll come good.

I think it is safe to say Aindoh doesn’t rate Idah very highly . Many of us would agree especially after last Sunday . He certainly got enough chances to win the game, I thought the longer the game went on the less confidence he had . From what I have seen there is no way that he can be our number one striker for season. Hopefully we all recognise Shin is better than him, when he becomes more accustomed to team and Scotland.
