What does out majority shareholder, DD, have to say about the managers public concerns? He has apparently personally tried to get him to sign a new deal, so surely knows his feelings. If the Board don't trust his signings surely the scouting system is designed to identify suitable players that can be ok'd by manager and Board. We sold Kyogo and Khun for £27m and it's reasonable for the manager to expect a significant proportion would be available to spend on 1st team ready replacements. A £6m winger, £5m on L Miller and £10m on striker would still leave us in the black not counting fringe player sales and sell on fees. The next few weeks will be very interesting and I feel the manager is almost at the stage of saying that's it for me, see the season out (maybe) then I'm gone.

Thinks 67, I've said it on here before. £10 million for Kyogo, £17.5million for Khun, £2million for Lagerbielke, no forgetting Bernabei for £5 million back in January, £500kfor Cummings to West ham and Kwon to Nantes for an undisclosed fee, add to that £6 million for Frimpongs move to Liverpool. that's somewhere in the region of £40 million brought in or guaranteed to be coming in since January this year. you've then got champions league money, sold out season tickets, 3 or 4 new strips and club merch ie training hear etc. is it any wonder rodgers is ready to snap?

Rodgers does not negotiate prices or sign off on deals. This sounds like the board trying to pass the buck.

Chinks, who said board don't trust the Managers signings, oh yes some ex player, who knows nothing about the business or inner workings of our club.
The sooner this window shuts and we can all get back behind the team the better.
After 60 years of supporting this club, I have very rarely seen a window where the media have gone after us, our board, players and Manager and others have jumped on board.

That's not what he said. Again, that's someone's version of what he said.
He has made it clear he decides which players come in, how the team need to improve not remain static but at no time did he say him and the board disagree, that they don't want to move forward or that they don't trust him signing the players he wants.
He said he can't be the Celtic Manager if the team stands still, he did not say he can't be the Manager because the board want to stand still.
A hell of a difference in interpretation imo.

I've listened to it all and he said words along the lines of "i need to get the Board to agree to strengthen areas where we have gaps, and clearly i've not done a good enough job". That says it all.
