The Scottish Cup appointments have just been announced.
Willie Collum will referee Celtic V Livingston on Sunday and Nick Walsh will do VAR.
John Beaton has be rewarded for his shocking performance at Tynecastle, with the 1st Scottish Cup tie.
He will referee Aberdeen V Kilmarnock on Saturday lunchtime.

It is as if the SFA are flicking 2 fingers at every Celtic Fan.

Crawford Allen might be running out of options to referee the Glasgow Derby at Ibrox next month and it’s his own fault.
Crawford Allen only has 6 referees with Glasgow Derby experience because half the time he appointed Bobby Madden.
I mentioned this at the time because other referees were not getting their chance.
Don Robertson only got his chance because Willie Collum got injured in the warm up.
The 6 referees are -
Willie Collum has also been referee in Old Firm games.
Nick Walsh
John Beaton
Don Robertson
Kevin Clancy
Steven McLean.
I don’t think it will be Nick Walsh because he had the last Derby.
Collum and Beaton will not be appointed due to recent complaints.
Robertson got the last Derby at Ibrox and I’m not convinced he will get this fixture.
That leaves Clancy and McLean who only has 2 previous games in this fixture.
Alan Muir will be 49 in May and he’s never been given the Old Firm or the Glasgow Derby fixture, in the 15 years he’s been refereeing in the Top Division.
My guess would be Clancy, unless he’s does something stupid in the next few weeks, which is a big possibility.

I’ve been told Don is a Celtic fan. Anybody know if this is true. If he is, he hides it well.

John Beaton is a stick on for that game.

Beaton took advantage of that decent fella, by putting him in a couple of awkward situations.
Maybe next time Don will grow a pair and stick by his own decisions.
