Big Joe done the right thing announcing his retirement. he's gave the club ample notice to find a successor. ideally if the club was being run right we'd have signed a decent replacement in jan who could have got a look at the club and got bedded in for next season. there's no chance we're getting kelleher he's out our price range. so god knows what they'll come up with. still think the big RC keeper looks decent.

Don't want Kelleher tbh very overrated goalkeeper.

Celtic favourites to get Kellecher is pie in the sky nonsense.
Liverpool knocked back a £15M bid from Forest last month and Kellecher has another 2 years left on his contract after this season.

The Celtic Board refused to spend £5M on a player this season, so there’s no chance of getting the Irishman.

Kellecher is not on a huge wage at Liverpool compared to his teammates.
I’m sure the 25 year old will be making sure his next contract will be massive, wherever he is.

This story is probably from our board to try and get fans talking about something else.

We need a goalkeeper that is European standard, unlike Joe, who's European standard days were years ago, Joe was just good enough for Scotland, where it doesn't really matter if you are more statuesque than acrobatic .

Kamil grabara from copenhagen for me. Might cost £10m+ though.

Fair point aindoh but it's not only a GK we need who is of European standard, we need another 7 or 8 outfield players to give us a chance of winning games in Europe.

No Pedro, I think if we had a goalkeeper who could make a few wonder saves, rather than a few great saves, the chances we created, but never turned into goals, wouldn't have mattered as much, so many games we scored, and then missed enough chances to kill a game off, only for the other team to catch on the break, and score, and then the whole momentum of the team is lost, the defence becomes nervous, the midfield doesn't want to make adventurous passes incase the ones they get intercepted and the opposition runs in, and the goal keeper stands still as the ball flies past him into the net, and the commentators say, what a wonder strike, the goalkeeper could not do anything about that, and I say to myself, well, he could have saved it, or tried to .
