Our possession and style kills us at times. If we had our top men last night we might still have drawn. Dominating games and winning ball back within 5 secs is perfect for playing better teams. But last night CCV, Welsh and Bitton had the ball 30 yards from St mirren goal with 18 players in and around the box. I said after the livi games that it's not about a big target man to ruffle them up, we need to give up possession and let St mirren and Livi come into our half, then the game is open.

We where missing all our first team strikers our two main wingers and our best assist and goalscoring midfielder . our front line last night consisted of a bhoy making his full debut a bhoy struggling to find form and consistency having just returned from long term injury and one who has been poor for months and isn't a striker. an excuse no. but a factor yes .

What about St mirren sorry we should be winning theses games, our final ball was terrible and shooting awful that's how we drew.

The only time Giakoumakis has played a full game for Celtic was in our goalless draw with Livingston and the penalty was our first shot on target.
Giakoumakis is a target man but we still didn’t create any decent chances until injury time.
Celtic need better players and everything else will fall into place.
We have been unlucky with injuries and our fringe players aren’t good enough.

Mally regarding St Mirren having half a team missing, Buzz Bomb mentioned yesterday that seven players who started last nights game had played in their last game against Hibs.

I looked at The Celtic Trends from last night.
I’m surprised how good our average positions finished.
I couldn’t have placed the players better if I tried but yet we played poorly.
Juranovic looked dangerous when he came on after 60 minutes.
Juranovic had more crosses into the St. Mirren box in his 30 minutes,
Than Moffat (60 minutes ) and Johnston ( 90 minutes ) had combined.

Yes but they only played because their main men were out bit like us.

St. Mirren started 7 players last night, that played in their last match against Hibs, when they had a full squad to pick from.
So it was basically their 7 best players available against Hibs last week.
