Not sure about you bhoys on here but I hate to see player's who've finished runner-up, get their medals and immediately take them off as if they're ready to bin them.
I get the disappointment etc of not winning but for me it shows a lack of class.
The majority of the English player's did this last night, even the one's who never got 1 minute on the pitch during the whole tournament 😑.

Sorry Pedro but I disagree any finals I’ve been in with rugby and lost I’ve binned the medal. Don’t want a keep sake of something I lost. I presume they’ll be the same.

One of the England players took his medal off, then kissed it. Strange.
Sterling and Grealish should hang their heads in shame for not taking the responsibility and having the guts to take a penalty and allowing a 21 and 19 year old to step up.

I found that strange too Buzz; especially Sterling who has much experience and played the full game, rather than allocate guys who were very late subs and had hardly touched the ball?
As for the medal thing, I would imagine, players used to winning trophies might see a runners-up gong as disappointing, but those who had got to their first ever final and had no real experience of trophies might have seen it as a motivation and learning experience?

To be fair Toprig I’d bin my rugby finals medals aswell as I wouldn’t want anyone to know I liked rugby.

Ye I seem they got there medals then most took them off one lad kissed his that's what it meant great achievement. As for the lads who took them off that was just for the cameras. Usual crap if course it's important it's not as if the got thrashed they missed it only just and to the Italians who where favourites. If that's the way they feel why even bother playing why even bother going to collect it in the first place so taking it off and not even being proud of what they did is pathetic. It's still great memories for them but acting up to the fans and TV p. es me off as if they should have won it they even believe there own hype.

I come in peace lads. just a wee update. grealish has come out and said he did offer to hit a pen. it isn't always their choice.
