a cheap option giving a proven goal scorer a years contract ok mate. after griff 40 goal season he has had dembele and Edouard to challenge for the number 1 spot no easy task mate. once him and eddy were up top together they were flying mate. i would not call it a reward i would call it he has had a talk with the manger and its a year to show him what he can do as wee all know that he is a goal scorer. ange would have laid it down to grif and he has accepted and he will be out to shoot people like you down
here is what im going to do AUf i 100 % guarantee griff will have you eating your words at the end of the season if he does not pick up any bad injuries and if I'm wrong pick a charity of your choice and i will donate 50 quid to it.

Your blighted by a good season 5yrs ago. He's done nothing in the hoops since. He's only scored 25 in the last season. We won't even talk about his efforts last season. Boys a waster and has been rewarded for pissing on the fans.

im not blighted by anything mate i know a goal scorer when i see one and griff is that and i have faith in ange getting the best out of him with his no nonsense and hi fitness demand and i feel griff will have took it on board and be disappointed in how he has been himself and will want to prove a point and not ruin what's left of his career and shoot doubters like you down. he will have you eating your words. its not a reward it is a chance to prove to ange as it will be a clean slate.

Trust me no-one will be happier than me if he turns it around. He knows where the net is but he's not justified himself since he got his big new contract. Ripped the utter pish out the support last season, when we have shown nothing but loyalty to him. HH.

kev the big difference with eddie is he kicked a fuss to leave like some other players that caused the toxic atmosphere at the club griff wants to be here he has had mental health issues as for ajer he wanted to leave but agreed to stay and got on with it. mostly every player was stinking last season even calmac should he get shown the door to. unimaginable success was achieved the last few year some fans have showed they will turn nasty if things don't go there way no matter what you have done for the club.
griff has been at Celtic for 7 and a half season in only 2 of those seasons he has failed to hit double figures and one was the season he broke down with mental health and this season. he scored 7 goals in 14 appearances in his half season when he just joined scored 20 the following season then 40 the following season then dembele joins he still scored 18 that season.
Edouard has been at Celtic for 4 seasons and scored 85 goals
dembelle was at celtic for 2 season and a couple of games into 3rd season scored 51 goals
ill use grifs first 3 and half season here to help keep it in the same time frame as eddy 85 goals ill use his first two and half season to keep it in same time frame as dembele 67 goals
i don't know were youse get the one season wonder from the lad is a goal machine he has just been in a bad place recently.
