Wouldn't surprise me if they nutters that run the game play it behind closed doors which would suit us, or cancel altogether so they are seen to be doing something about the plague.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mally mate they need the money, but after there next 2 games i wouldn't be surprised if the Scottish government did shut down all sporting events.

Agree they'll do something.

Most clubs will be insured for lose of earnings through this kind of thing.

Public are being petrified and panicked by the media and that will push Holyrood into over-reacting.
The main news reports are selectively vague and uninformative to say the least with 'hand-shaking' being seen as high risk; while there is no constructive information as to the cause, specific symptoms or cure. Normally, in similar 'outbreaks' a serum would be analyzed using people who have survived the virus, but what do I know?
Another head-scratcher for me is apparently up to 3,000 Bayer Leverkusen fans may be in attendance for their EL game tomorrow in Glasgow and they are situated in a high-risk region of Germany.
Do they have to keep their hands in their pockets at all times?

kev mate we have never had anything like this since 2001 when the foot n mouth epidemic. we are a healthy wealthy club and can take the hit if needed. insurance will cover certain things but won't cover corporate sales and that is were the orcs will get caught out. i do hope we don't get to that point for all sports sake.

Doubt it very much Kev, an epidemic or pandemic is unlikely to be covered by any insurance policy. HH.

Use whatever word you want if IRONY is wrong in this context, but watched Klopp and Simeone arm-shake last night to do their thing for the virus. while the players shook each other's hand. Geezuz wept!

This is nothing like the foot and mouth, the only way to look at this is to carry on with big crowded events and let the virus spread among the community and just accept the fact that an awful lot of old and vulnerable people will die because there will be too many people sick at the same time for the health service to cope with them, or to shut down all events, and slow down the spread of the virus through the community, so that the health service can cope, the same amount of people might catch it but it will be spread over a longer time, and less people will die, is a no brained really, shut down all big sporting and other large crowd event's.

If and it's a big IF that mob won on Sunday they would want the season null and void.
