I doubt there is any truth in the rumour about Ajar to the snakes squad because he has Benko their and in my opinion he was our best defender last season. But if it were true would anyone be happy at a swap deal Ajar for Benko?
They are both young and both still got plenty of improvement in them and I Benko is a bit further along at the moment but it’s anyones guess who will be the better player when they are 25.

I also wouldn't say benko is further a head of Ajer either.
Ajer captained start at 16
He has played about 30 more professional games
He has won trophies played in Europe and has 10 caps for more at.
Ajer had a much bigger impact last season that benco did IMO.

Definitely keep ajar he is stronger bigger and more physical. Benko is good player of course but seems to pick up a lot of injuries.

Ajer has become somewhat of a cult hero last season and gets what playing for us is all about. It'd be a toss up between him and McGregor who would be our next captain and the boy keeps getting better and better. Wouldn't entertain any offer for him.

Bang on Irish, I didn't even think about that. Ajer looks bigger stronger, quicker and he is also great on the ball.
I wouldn't swap him for anyone in our price range.

Ajer has all-but mastered two different positions and is capable of going all the way as a complete footballer who can score goals too.

Ajer is becoming one of the best young CB in Europe. Another year and he will have a lot of big clubs wanting him. I thought he got caught out positionally a few times last year. He’s looked good in that department so far.

See similarities in ajer and vvd both assuring and comfortable with the ball on the deck. Could easily play cm also. No surprise he's linked with Leicester I think br will buy English though if he does buy another cb.

Would be prepared to keep Ajer, he looks and acts like he has been with us for years ( as he has ) . He could also stay with us for very many years .
It’s only a few years ago, I remember thinking that despite the lure of big money in the EPL we didn’t have much to worry about, as we had a team of decent hard workers playing quite well without many stars .
Now half of our team could be targeted and we would have to fight to keep them

Ajer is still raw but there is a lot of potential there. Big man has loads of passion and that will make him a fan favourite. Potential captain in the making.
