What I am particularly pleased about this season is the lack of loan signings, last season if my memory is correct we had 5 players on loan, they have all left now and in their place have come Boyata, Armstrong and Mackay-Smith and it looks like any further additions will be permanent deals also, loans should only be used as a last resort in my eyes.

If the right loan comes along at the right time then it can be a great thing. Denayer last season outshone Virgil in my eyes. Although we lost him at the end of the season, he's had nothing but praise for Celtic since he left and that can only enhance our reputation to other potential targets.

I like loans imagine we had bought wakasso tonev berget or guidette wish we had done scepovic on a loan 1st same with a lot of the other terrible signings that have cost us millions like balde pukki derk
