Still very quiet on the transfer front - guess it's become the Celtic way. Would like like one more signing, but as BR says no point in a squad player - got too many of those.

As for the transfet front, is there any point in buying someone just now, use the rest of the season to unearth, develop or rediscover or reinvigorate some of the talent here already, is this tranfer window a bit like christmas, you have got to buy something just because its christmas

@UJ-we're all entitled to our opinion. I was simply expressing mine that your club are a festering sore on the side of humanity and that Scotland would be better off from a football perspective as well as socially, culturally and politically if it ceased to be (again) . ๐Ÿ€

My girls who are on twitter (I am NOT) told me of tweets they saw about the Man City manager Pep Guardiola saying that after the Celtic 3-3 CL game he more or less had to rethink his tactics.
Did anyone else read these comments and can Celtic take the credit of ruining City's EPL challenge.

Spot on Tim. Not on twitter maself but seen a link. He said they had problems with 4-3-3 at paradise. It seems we taught him a lesson ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ€

I don't think they have been the same since. We gave the epl the blueprint of how to rattle them

We beat the mighty Barca, other teams started stoppimg them.

We beat what looked like an unstoppable City, other teams started stopping them.

Fact is, too many sides stand off and let them play.

That's all it is, show a bit grit, and anybody can be matched.

In the summer I thought moyes was our best option. How wrong was I, really think we dodged a bullet with him and won the prize with br. Fortunately for us, he thought he was too good to come and manage us and he deserved a premier league job. Hope u r enjoying it now moyesy, looks like a terrible decision now . On sky basically whinging that he has no money and anyone he brings in won't make a difference. Get on with it and coach like u r paid to do, just goes to show the over rated premier league isn't paved with gold the way they try and sell it to us. Thank goodness we got Brendan instead

Football coaching has got to be a lot easier if you have plenty of money to spend. I wonder how well Guardiola and Mourinho would do if they had to manage the likes of Rotherham or Chesterfield.
If Moyes is as good as he thinks he is then he should be able to improve the players at Sunderland and keep them up that way.

Spot on Quinn-I agree with every point you've made brother-but I was firmly in the Rodgers camp and always had an inkling Moyes was an egotistical fud whose so called Celtic minded credentials were debatable ๐Ÿ€

I remember him saying that the reason he failed at Man U was because they told him they were going to buy Ronaldo back as well as Messi. Now it wouldn't take a genius to work out that both them in a team would make a significant impact, but to be stupid enough to come away with that. He basically told everyone himself that he was sh1te

It's well reported that as a coach he is in the dark ages training and tactic. Didn't want him and admittedly was unsure about BR but I'll hold my hands up. I work with a scouser that has a side in tickets and hotel packages he has built up over the years and he has said on numerous occasions if backed with the right group rodgers would take us to the knockouts. I laughed it off as I thought he was taking the piss engarund type. He wasn't and is adamant. Wtf not? HH

Heard Gerard Delofeu is out of favour at Everton and is allowed to leave if a suitable offer comes in. They paid 4 million i think? (don't quote me on that) . Think he would be a quality player to pick up for the RW spot. Not to sure what his price tag would be though. Just a thought ken like eh

He's got quality. Question marks over his goals return though. BR was saying just last week that players up that end need to score goals. Happy Birthday for the weekend by the way.

Read yesterday that an SPFL lawyer admitted in court that the oldco had been using tax evasion schemes since 1989.was this not the begining of their nine tainted titles in a row? . does anyone know what the football authorities plan to do about this i. e stripping of titles, cups etc. an unfair sporting advantage was obvisouly gained which surely brings sporting integrity into question! Or do they plan not to serve any punishment on the oldco?

Listening to brendans recent interview for upcoming weekend, he really is very impressive the way he talks about the game and his attitude and philosophy, and treating AR the same as a man city or Barcelona very respectful, think we have a real gem here bhoys long may it continue
