Sevco has never been in administration. for it to be two would be to give life to the continuation lie. rangers died.

Think that's pretty much a given rich.

The only thing I could maybe see being different is Toljan going to LB and Lustig coming back in to RB.

I know Valencia are coming to Glasgow with some important players missing, but I hate these headlines like "Celtic hopes boosted by missing players" etc.
Let's just concentrate on the game and hopefully play to our strengths and not look at Valencia.
All we have to do is look at PSG last night who had 3 BIG players missing and the English media had Manchester United not only winning the tie but in the fekin CL final.

Delighted to see Man Utd pumped.

Nothing against United - especially since they dumped the septic-one - but I do think the EPL is very over-rated when it comes to Europe's top sides - who are all technically/ tactically superior.
Even Man City who have spent a king's ransom in recent years and look fantastic in full-flow have yet to win the 'Big Cup'.

The media down south still think the EPL is the best in the world but consistently all their best players move abroad (mainly to Spain) and their teams don't feature in the later stages of the champs league every year. I think its ed that calls it the pub league and quite rightly so!

Taking out the top 6 it's a very poor league. Spaim, Germany and French league's are far superior.

The arrogant little Englanders that spout pants about the EPL cause me mental anguish and emotional pain they should be banned from Europe after BREXIT which is their second one anyway with the Church of England being their first. What chance do you have of them seeing the EPL the right size when they still think they have an Empire. I would rather watch a Scottish second division game and I feel better now.

I hate and despise the English league and country! . Make me sick not saying their all arseholes who live there. But if u take the top 6 out of any league then of course it’s going to be poor lol.

I really fancy our chances of beating Valencia over both ties. They are having an abysmal season and their away record is really poor.

We have really stepped up a gear since winter break and I can see us going far in Europa knock out stages.

That second half put into perspective how hard it is for us now they destroyed man united last night and look at the money theyv spent pogba etc.

One a Bhoy I always want a English team in the cl probably only teams we stand a chance with.

Pogba was a waste of money.

With the recent financial report showing we have a very healthy bank balance, IF and its a big if, we qualify for the champions league next summer and with the amount of contracts ending that can free up wages, we could be in for some great signings Burke and Troljan could be just the start of a great window if everything goes to plan.

I'd be hoping for JT regardless tbh. think price being banded about was 4 mill and hopefully if the lad enjoys it here he will be up for staying and we can get deal over the line.

Burke I feel will be a non starter.

If Dortmund can sign Hakimi on a permanent transfer from Real Madrid then we have a chance of signing Toljan providing the player wants to sign with us. Burke is enjoying his football for the first time in a long time. I genuinely believe Burke will be desperate to join us.

14 Feb 2019 02:33:02
He can be desperate to sign and we could be equally desperate to sign him but finances are a big obstacle. We don't operate in the multi million bracket very often. We should, but we don't.

Mallky, the Bundesliga is seen as a much more popular destination for players than the top flight in Scottish football and that’s one of the problems we face when trying to attract players.

What's everybody's take on our next two games, to me both are as important as each other, would love to get a result on Thursday but would be as equally happy to get a result on Sunday which I think would go a long way to securing number 8. I can't get enough of this domestic dominance 😁.

As much as I would like to see Celtic progress in Europe; I feel the CL has become much more difficult to compete in with the multiple qualifiers starting in our 'close-season' and the seeding placing us with at least two mega-rich clubs (and heavy defeats) even if we get to the group stage.
The EL does give us a better chance of building experience and confidence the longer we stay in it and that will benefit the players and the club in the long run.
However, the satisfaction of continued dominance of domestic football is always my priority, as without it, we don't get the multiple benefits of European football.

Agree1 Disagree0

13 Feb 2019 10:55:27
I have to say that I don’t think that our dominance is good for Scottish football in general. Hahahahaha. That wil be right. Long may we dominate and the sooner the people go bust again the better. I honestly would be happy if they went under and didn’t come back. Their bile would not be missed.

And Madden is the Referee Can't understand why Celtic didn't demand that he never referees our games again and that of Servco also Not because we lost to that lot we didn't deserve anything from that but for the decisions he let go with Morelos incidents And the alleged drinking decision afterwards to me is highly questionable at least.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Feb 2019 12:16:33
tony2bhoy if you are referring to the last old firm game, Beaton was the referee in that game not Madden. oldkilly.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Feb 2019 12:29:10
Tony it was Beaton who was ref that dark day at Mordor madden was fourth official? Doesn’t matter who the officials are the sevvie desperation is gathering momentum as we bear the 10? Be it in their fans the press or the match day officials and if they have a split decision to make the sevvie in them will shine through? We just need to keep the form we are in going and there isn’t much they can do to stop us. Enjoy their pain lads 😂🍀⚽️🏆🏆🏆.

Arrowh, recent history shows that if Rangers were to go down again then Celtic and the SPFL would revert back to league of Ireland standard with attendances of 30k.

But arrowh Scottish football and Celtic need a strong Sevco😂😂😂😂.
