Well done to all the lurkers, of which they are staunchly officially none lol. Reminds me of another time when I was a Celtic supporter lots of wins but no trophies 😉. I'll take cups and Champions league all day. Will give credit to Taverniers goal, Green specs off it was not bad. OK, cup final again to look forward to again😁.

I said the same thing to my laddie yesterday. On most occasions during their 9 in a row my memory is generally being able to raise our game against them and on many occasions ran over the top of them when it didn’t matter. I remember celebrating like the Govan hoards yesterday. Then waking up on the Monday morning only to realise in the final analysis we’d won nothing and nobody cared. And that’s where our friends across the city are this morning despite yesterday’s (SKY QUOTE) ‘massive result’ for Slipping Stephen. Three competitions won none 6 points behind in the league and second place while Celtic are champions again as we know. That being said it’s a massive wake up call and to use the word we often use for them we’re deluded if we don’t think the gap has narrowed. The other thing we learned yesterday and I’m a massive fan of his is that Lennon isn’t the man to move us forward or to make another statement of intent as we did when we appointed Rodgers after our cup defeat to them. As Ed said yesterday on live chat ‘Over to you Mr. Desmond’.

We used to always beat them after they had won the league but no disguising we have regressed dramatically major investment needed.

JFP, of course the gap has narrowed, of course Slippy G has improved them but let's be brutally honest they couldn't have got any worse, they were rock bottom, it's now up to us to keep the gap comfortable as it is at the moment.

Stevie agreed they’ve got better although starting from ground zero but we’ve also got worse which has narrowed the gap further. Dembele for starters was never replaced nor was Armstrong off the top of my head. But we’re agreed the balls now firmly in Celtic’s court to invest and re-establish the differential.
