It about time celtic fans made there voice heard to the board for past 4 . 5 year the club has made millions in champs league europa league selling virgil van d etc but have spent nothing it about time players of at least 3 or 4 mill were purchased indtead of this loan nonsence.

What exactly do you want? It's already been admitted by PR that we tried to get him on a permanent move but City wouldn't sell and also agreed a fee for Coetzee before he failed his medical. A younger striker on loan makes sense because he'll only be a back-up to LG and MD and if we do buy a CB that'll be added to the £5-6M we've already spent on fees this summer.

Kevbhoy people want money spent no matter what. Could be anyone as ling as money spent.
Then when player doesn't work out they can moan about wasting money.

people want money spent on the CORRECT players kev, not unknown gambles, even if we spent 15m buying 3 quality players we would still not be anywhere near bankrupting ourselves.

Of course transfers are going to fall through or players may not fancy coming to Scotland; but I can't believe for a second - with a top class manager who has a long term plan - that the board pursue one player at a time then go back to the drawing board if or when it doesn't materialise?
BR must have had a shortlist of suitable candidates and targets for the past year or so, but here we are again fast approaching deadline day, scratching our arses waiting and hoping that we manage to sign CL quality players at the last minute - and it just won't happen. Will it?

There's still wages to be paid the cost of hotel new pitches upkeep of stadium the training ground, staff, bonuses and there's a lot of outgoings aswell we don't just stockpile all the cash for a rainy day unfortunately.

JB67 5 million doesn't guarantee quality anymore. We just spent 4.5million on ntcham and he's a young bhoy untested at the highest level.

who says it has to be only 5m kev, that's where good scouting and management comes into it, the amount of people who wet their pants on here whenever anyone talks of celtic showing some ambition and buying some quality is ridiculous.
