Apologies if anyone has already mentioned it but what about Gordons double save near the end of today's game. Even Ed would have loved it. He got a deserved standing ovation.

Think your being a bit unfair Ed. It was a superb double save and everyone who witnessed it gave a deserved applause. Bet you stillthink Griffiths is rubbish!

{Ed007's Note - I don't care what you think, it was you that brought me into it and now you're off about Leigh Griffiths, try to stick to one subject at a time, you'll find it easier to concentrate on what you're trying to say.
Now seeing you're so keen in following what I say you'll have noticed the numerous times I've said that LG has improved as a player and impressed me, I also said he wasn't a CL level striker.
But as a man he still leaves a lot to be desired, he's hardly a role model for youngsters with his attitude and off field antics constantly dragging the name of the club through the mud and making headlines for the wrong reasons.
Did you applaud LG acting like a total knob and kneeing an opposition player in the groin over nothing - something he should have been red carded for.}

Have to agree with Ed Gordon is overrated and Griffiths has improved a lot but he is spl standard that's about it am afraid

Your a bit touchy these days Ed. Think your a bit sore at anyone taking a pop at you. As for Gordon being over rated what a joke!!

{Ed007's Note - If you think that's taking a pop at me you need to get out more mate, even my 14 year old niece could teach you a thing or two about put downs.
Why don't you try and explain your point of view or your opinion rather than pointless 1 or 2 line posts that add nothing to the thread, you know you're wrong so decide to attack me and posters personally rather than explain your point - or have you realised you don't actually have a point so you thought you'd try and be a smart ar$e but sadly you failed miserably at it?}

Wrong about what. I stated Gordon made a fantastic double save in Saturday and had a dig at you. You've now went totally tonto!!

{Ed007's Note - Why bring me into it at all? You've admitted you had a dig at me, why was that? Is what I think so imortant to to you and why's it ok for you to have a dig at me but I can't have one at you, do you think that's fair, do you think I'm here to just accept taking pops from the likes of you?
It's really quite simple, if you don't like what I say then don't read it, I'm bored with you now so run along and take digs at someone else, there must be a kid nearby you can practice your 'digs' on, it's not like you don't need it.
When was the last time a GK at CP got a standing ovation for saving a shot? It's pathetic, it's what he's supposed to do - have we fallen that far we're applauding every save Gordon makes? Pity there wasn't much in Europe to applaud him for, or losung us the treble or costing us CL football last year.}

So from now on we shouldn't cheer any goals. After all that's what out field players should be doing. Going to be very quiet at football matches these days.

{Ed007's Note - Now you're hallucinating and seeing words that aren't even there, point out where I said that? What next a tune over the tannoy because Gordon managed to find his goal before a match, how about a banner saying 'Well done on putting your gloves on the right hands'?
I couldn't care less if he got a standing ovation for performing an entire live version of The Wall in the centre circle at half time, is it 33 goals CG has conceded in Europe so far for CFC - God knows what that'll be after the EL.
But round of applause for making a couple of saves against St Johnstone - pity you couldn't applaud a clean sheet though but we don't get many of them with CG in goal do we?
Perhaps a wee Sunday afternoon nap would help you get back on track.}

Fair enough Ed I'll not mention CG again as you obviously can't stand him.

{Ed007's Note - I was expecting you to come back with a list of crucial saves and games games where CG has won us games, but again you decide to play the man rather than the ball, my opinion of CG is backed up with cold hard facts and stats, your admiration of him appears to be built around the fact I don't like him with nothing to back it up except that.
What have you mentioned in this thread that is positive about CG rather than just be negative about me?}

30 Aug 2015 22:00:32
I go with you on this one Ed. CG does pull off some good reactive saves but when it gets right down to the business end of being a goalkeeper he is lacking too many times for me. I know he is the last line of a group of defenders but too many basic errors for me.
