Tisdale will get the blame because he probably makes the final recommendation but Celtic were first linked with Balikwisha in the summer of 2024 and Tisdale didn't join Celtic until October 2024.
Also Tounekti by his own admission mentioned that Celtic had been looking at him for a long time.
It must be Celtic scouts who are recommending them to our head of recruitment and then it's up to Tisdale to take the next steps.

This is yet another example of the poor and not fit for purpose, current footballing set up at Celtic FC.
The scouts can either make or cost the club a fortune. Whilst we've done well selling players on for large sums in recent years the volume of projects or just bad signings, has been high.
We are in desperate need of a footballing operational structure to be put in place that would cover scouting, amongst many other areas.
