The last time Celtic lost at both Dundee grounds in the same season was in 1988/ 89.
It was mentioned earlier this season that was our first defeat at Dens Park since Tommy Coyne scored the only goal in 1988.
Celtic lost on our first FOUR visits to the City Of Discovery that season without scoring a goal.
We were knocked out of the league cup 2-0 at Tannadice.
Celtic also lost 1-0 and 3-0 there in the league.
We lost 1-0 to that Coyne winner and then Celtic won 3-0 at Dens Park in February 1989 which was 5th time lucky in Dundee at season.

I have a memory of getting beat at dens park in the 90s when Neil McCann played for them. He had a great game that day. That being said it may have been a draw as I would have been steaming. ?.

I just remember leaving unhappy and to top it off our bus broke down in kelty, which is a wee mining village full of blue noses.
When we went in the pub it had a picture of the queen and Rangers players on the wall. Thankfully a replacement bus arrived before we got out numbered and it kicked off. ?.
