I have just watched the nancy interview. are we all being a bit hasty i know he has lost 3 games on the bounce but he is saying he doesn't want his players playing back he wants them to attack.
this is the Celtic way and in our dna with the right players and system could we have an intellegent coach on our hands here but the board have made him a scapegoat and to take pressure of him.

The stats on players that have worked under him don't lie that attackers seem to excel (stat wise) but at Celtic he can't just attack as we need to win, his failure against hearts and at Mirren to recognise the failing tactics and shake and not revert back to something they know is arrogant, naive and shows he knows nothing about Celtic, answer is no we're not being hasty, he's had 3 games too much.

Open your eyes, the man is an absolute clown and does not have what it takes to manage Celtic. The quicker he is given his P45, the better it will be for the club.

BBC give stats on passing accuracy but also how many forward and backward passes each team makes in a game.
Celtic had 31% of all our passes went backwards in BOTH games against Hearts and St. Mirren.
Our opponents had almost the same percentages.
With Hearts passing back 18% of the time and St. Mirren passing back 17% of the time.

I appriciate the replies what i'm trying to get at is. nancy misunderstood and maybe a tactical genius if he had the right tools to work with. i get mon had the same players to work with and got a tune out of them, but let's be honest he is a diffrent breed and gauratees success.
are we maybe naive in qeustioning a progressive manager that would get us somewhere in European football but because the hirearchy and fans are so torn apart on were we should be as a club we aren't given him a chance to succeed.

Was it the one he said Celtic is Celtic?
Or the one he said the ball is the ball?
Or the one he said it was not about winning?

One club trust what you as a fan have watched and witnessed over the years, bad managers, bad systems, good managers, good system, players good enough or not, I don't think you'll find a reason to trust what's going on with Nancy, where's the positives just for one because I can't see any, every fan wants the guy to succeed, every fan regardless of initial thoughts on him wants to win, there just no justification for him continuing, Celtic will and should win games, because there better, if he gets time these wins are going to dilute his failings.

I honestly don't see him getting any wins in our next 5 games.
I can see Dundee utd, Aberdeen, Livingston, Motherwell and Sevco beating us and the league will be gone by January.

I am sure we have all been there in our life, were our boss is telling us to do something that we know will not work but because they are the boss, we just do it. Or a boss who tries to micromanage you, so you only do exactly what they say.
I normally don't tell them why it won't work as the guy is usually a clown and I just laugh to myself when everything goes tits up and they expose themselves for the clown that they are.

Someone mentioned he is playing the same system as Amorin and look how that is working for Man U. They are rank rotten and easy to score against.
It is not used by many coaches for a reason. He is not progressive, he is totally out of his depth.
A Manager who sticks to a system that doesn't work, without any flexibility is going to struggle and in Europe we will get badly exposed and we don't need our reputation tarnished any further.
I appreciate Ange was the same but his team were good to watch. BR was the same also and in the last season and a half, not so good to watch.
He has turned our best performers into players who look like they have never played the game.
How can any Manager look at Scales and say he is the man to play as a left winger and overlap our left back and Jamsie is a midfielder.
The fact he only spoke to MON for 15 minutes and didn't ask about any of the players demonstrated an arrogance and self belief that he would implement his system no matter what.
I cannot imagine what it must feel like for our players turning up for games, when they know themselves that they have no idea what he wants and how his system is making them look clueless.
