I think the question we should all be asking is why the board have not gone out their way to back NL with considerable investment in the team. We have had 3 different managers all of which have come up short in the title race. I see no point in replacing the manager and expecting things to change without serious investment in the playing staff. NL should be given to the end of the season to turn things around and should be given serious funds in January to enable him to do this. If the board do not share the ambition the rest of us do then they should be replaced with a board who's desire is not limited to balancing the books.
