Needs to improve his scoring rate as 2 goals in 31 games isn't good enough. I think his signing probably means kenny and osmond both going out on loan.

And 2 in 21 in the league this season. He might turn out to be a good player and I hope he does but 2 goals is horrendous especially when our own fans slate idah who scored 20 last season.

We really know very little about this player, in fact I know nothing except the good scoring rate 2 seasons ago and the terrible goal scoring rate, season just gone .
Would it not be wise to have a little bit of patience and see what he does and doesn’t do during rest of window .
If I may say it some fans must think our recruitment team are complete idiots, if they didn’t they would be arguing to give the lad a chance as our recruitment team had to see something to inspire Celtic to buy him.

Apparently his last team changed the system for the 24/ 25 season and he never got as much service, As far as I know he is a good poacher.

Those that are interested are fully aware of Yamada’s 2 goals in 21 games .
No doubt concentrating on this dismal statistic whilst ignoring the 20 goals scored previous season . With a rather inexperienced Japanese footballer travelling all the way to Scotland, I am sure it shouldn’t be difficult for us Celtic fans to out shout the naysayers and negative fans and help Yamada get a good start . It doesn’t actually destroy reputation of any Celtic fan to encourage especially our new players.
