I mentioned before that John Beaton was rewarded today, for his performance AGAINST Celtic on Sunday.
He was appointed the first Scottish Cup tie live on BBC this Saturday.
It was obvious the SFA/ SPFL would stick by John Beaton but I'm not convinced they've done the same with Willie Collum.
Now let's look at the difference in their treatment of Willie Collum, since Sevco complained about him.
Willie has only been appointed the referee in only 2 Premiership matches out of the last 8 games, since Sevco complained about him.
Collum was the referee in 5 Premiership games out of the 8 games, prior to Sevco complaining about him.
Willie Collum was appointed the Airdrie V Queens Park match a few days ago.
That looks like a continuous punishment especially since John Beaton has only been appointed a lower league match Twice in the last 17 months.
Willie has not been allowed to referee a Sevco league match in their last 10 league games, since Sevco complained about him.
Sevco have so far got away with dictating which games Collum is allowed to referee.
Maybe Crawford Allen and Co.
Should stick by their referees after they upset Sevco,
In the same way, they reward their referees when they upset Celtic.

Regardless of how wrong or blatant the red card was even if everyone had said it was wrong decision The SPFL could not go against Beaton on this one because if they did It would just be admitting that cheating is going on in Scottish football that the game was more or less set up for Celtic to lose that game no matter what. So no one should be surprised that the outcome was as it is.

The SFA are cowards.
When Sevco wrote a letter of complaint about Willie Collum in November 2018,
Willie wasn’t given another Sevco league match until the last game of the season in May 2019.

History repeated itself, when Sevco wrote a letter of complaint about Kevin Clancy in January 2022.
Clancy never received another Sevco league match until the last game of that season in May 2022.

Now Sevco are again dictating which games Willie Collum is not allowed to referee.
Collum has not been allowed to referee any of their last 10 league matches.
Sevco have now complained about a referee in 3 out of the last 6 seasons and every time, they have got their way.
Scottish Football is a joke with One Klub allowed to run the show.
The SFA, SPFL and Sevco are part of a 5 Way Agreement which is match made in HELL.

Buzz, outstanding research and insight. These are the types of stats the SMSM should be writing about instead of commenting on ridiculous phone in clickbait or comments from a £40m superstar now struggling for a start in Brazil’s second division.
If these stats are true, does nobody think it’s a wee bit strange that refs aren’t being appointed post these complaints? Does that not maybe put pressure on refs to not upset the apple cart? Out of interest Buzz, do you know if a ref is paid less for doing a championship game? i. e are they ever financially affected as well?
