we all know var has been shocking else were in leagues. i can see a shocking var decision in our favour this week to help hide the bias wile in the long run the sevies will gain from it.

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn’t think it would be our current referees and Linesmen, who would also be doing VAR.
I think in England it’s retired referees who are appointed to do VAR.
Maybe it’s time for our Scottish referees and assistants to be made Full-time employees.

Our retired refs are even worse and more biased than the current hoard.

decisions down England have been terrible buzz even had some pub league fans calling it corrupt and its only there to benefit the big clubs to help keep them all in the top 6.

will be no different up here. it will benefit the refs as it will be var blamed instead of the ref. so instead of cheating beaton getting called it out it will be var made the decision not beaton when in reality it will be like minded people like Beaton looking at var makeing the call.

United Ireland ??
Remember Beaton never changed his mind about Morelos after he watched video evidence.
He viewed 4 assaults on our players in a New Year game at Ibrox.
I think Beaton was the reason, they took the decision off the referee and they now use a panel to decide any retrospective action.

Not all the decisions from VAR have been terrible. If the guys viewing are all Sevconians and it’s still Penalty to Rangers, then this can be challenged. Right now they get away with it because it’s obviously the ref missed it due to “honest mistakes”. I would take VAR, it’s not perfect by any means, but cheating by the panel can be challenged more as they don’t have the excuse of decision making in real time.

{Ed007's Note - How will anyone challenge it though? Refs aren't asked about their decisions as things stand and now they have VAR to back up those decisions.}

Challenges even if viable get you nowhere VAR is still an interpretation of someone’s opinion so even tho it’s a back up it still doesn’t always get it right. It’s farcical there are now more talking points on wether var got it right than did the ref get it right.

If clear wrong decisions are continually given to Sevco and a pattern emerges then it can be challenged. Bad decisions will be given, that’s just a fact, but who gets them is the key. Celtic need to grow a pair and take them on if it happens.
