Big Giakoumakis isn't a man for taking touches in the box.
That was another brilliant one strike and clinical finish yesterday.
I'm sure he's another player who will improve next season after a good pre season under Ange.

Buzz, appreciate you were at the game yesterday but Kev83 made the same observation on the Live Chat.
I never realised until that point how good his finishing was i. e. one touch.
His goal yesterday required positioning, balance, timing and technique - everything a good striker needs ?.
Giorgious had his detractors on this forum after he'd signed (for once I wasn't one of them ?) but for me he's proved he can deliver.

{Ed007's Note - For me, Ped, Giakoumakis is the most clinical and best natural finisher at the Club and unless we buy an improvement on him he has to start next season as our first choice striker with Kyogo playing behind him in a AM/free role.}

Well Mark, according to my stats on Kyogo tonight on the Podcast, it actually looks like Kyogo is our best striker in the club and more effective in front of goal.

But the way modern Football is now, and how important the stats are Kyogo is the mostly likely a club would buy. I'll explain it tonight on the Podcast and how advanced Scouting is now and what clubs look for ina player.

I think we're lucky to have both Kyogo and Giorgious and given the fees paid, they've been a steal.
As we 'discussed' yesterday Mark on the Live Chat, if Ange could play Giorgious up front and Kyogo in a free role behind him, it could be very interesting.
How that would work in terms of team set up/ tactics I'll leave for those who are far more astute than me.
