It’s been reported that it was goalless against St. Mirren Again yesterday.
It was only a bounce game but that was an extremely strong side Celtic played in the first half.
Celtic have failed to score in 20% of our league games this season which results in guaranteed dropped points.
It’s a trend that can’t continue.
I think we need to try something different in the second half of the season to close the gap and compete for the title.
Ange should start to play a 3-5-2 formation especially with Jota being out and see if Celtic get the same reaction as our 9 in a row season.
It’s a gamble but it will probably get us more goals because we can’t afford to fail to score in league games now.
Giakoumakis could play a big role in the second half of the season if he can stay fit.
The big Greek could play until Kyogo comes back into the team.

Celtic won 1-0 wee Moffat. Was a bounce game to get minutes in legs wouldn't read to much into it.

There’s been a couple of different reports Auf.
In the league games we haven’t scored this season, Celtic looked like we could’ve played all day and not scored.
Livingston twice, Sevco and St. Mirren.
Watching those games it didn’t look like we would score.
It looks like there could be 5 subs allowed from next week.
Hopefully Ange will have the players available to change the formation after about 65 minutes if we’re strugggling to break down teams.
To be fair to Ange, injuries played a massive part in the first half of our season.

I agree BuzzBomb, with the players we have available (when fit) going with one striker is making it easier for opposition defences who sit deep e. g. Livingston where we've already dropped 4 points in 2 games.

I'd be prepared for us to concede goals and watch, say a 5-2 win, as opposed to biting through what's left of my nails waiting for a 97th minute winner against a team at the bottom of the table.

The team are still gelling lads and ang us still getting the lads up to the way he want it.
We had injuries galore.
Ang has improved us in a very short time. I think he knows exactly what he is doing now more than any of us.
We now break teams down.

Was in front row of the goalless draw with St Mirren. We created enough to win 3 games. Bad finishing and injuries to our better players cost us. Teams sitting in causes us problems as we don't have a pop from outside the box enough. Trying to walk it in the net. We beat St Johnstone 1-0 at home. Shot from outside box caused a commotion in the box BINGO.

As I have said before I would be happy 5 2 in every game Pedro HH.

For once the statistics don’t add up.
The statistics of the St. Mirren game would agree with you Auf because Celtic had 31 shots at goal and their keeper had 8 saves.
But I think those figures gave a false impression of that game because I didn’t think Celtic created many clear cut chances.
Watching the Ross County match, I still thought Celtic would score with 10 men because we were playing well enough but I didn’t see that coming against St. Mirren.
Not having a natural striker on the bench was criminal because I think a big strong laddie like young Dawson would’ve made all the difference, with the amount of balls that were getting played into the box.
