A few wrong selections were made, and Gilmour was a big miss, but there is better quality Scottish players coming through now, and in the next competition, Scotland should do better, as long as the manager, forgets about loyalty or sentimentality and picks the best players available, and plays them in their best positions, and doesn't play players out of position, just to accommodate other players.

The problem we have right now is that Scotland need 2 CB's so we can get McTominay into midfield where he belongs and a natural Goal scorer, Would it have been different if Griff had been fit? Maybe.
I also think Clarke has been to the Lennon school for tactics and subs, why wait until the 84th minute to bring on Nisbet and Patterson when we are already 3-1 down.

Scotland did well just to get there. Not sure what folk were expecting after that.
