Ed007, what's happened to him? Although playing with that defence won't help. He will never make it with us now regardless so best to cut our losses.
{Ed007's Note - I know he didn't speak any English or Irish 😜 before he joined so that along with moving to a new country blah blah blah will have had an effect as well. I think that also shows that the board expected to sign Forster again or Barkas would have been taking English lessons before moving over.}

I don’t think it would have helped him moving to a new country you don’t speak any English and can’t leave your house will have helped any of the new signings. I’m sure I read an article, he has lost about 2 stone of muscle looked bigger in those highlights and even when we played ark. now he just looks like a big streak of piss.

I can just remember him time wasting against Celtic.
And I watched the last few minutes of Aek in their play off game after they knocked Celtic out and Barkas spent half the injury time faking injury again.

In that clip he looks a bargain for 5 million playing against top clubs. I hope he comes good as woods must see something we don't. Mabe down to a backline that's all over the place confidence or communication problems as Ed says.

Was going to say he looks vocal in that video so he can't know any English. Lockdown hasn't helped for settling in either. If he can discover that kind of form he could do us a turn. I remember watching that video when we signed him and thought we got a real good keeper in.

Barkas is symptom of what’s in front of him. Every single match this season has had a different back four. Be lucky if he even recognised anyone let alone knowing their strengths and weaknesses are 😳.

I have said numerous times that the only time I seen Barkas playing was against us and he looked a great keeper, I still think there is a great keeper in there, I beleive its down to few things like needs time to settle, learn the language, coaching and the backroom unrest may have all contributed to him not settling as quickly as we would have liked. That's just my opinion though. What do you think Ed?
