It’s unfortunate again that Edouard will miss the Livingston game tonight due to the knock on effects of C. V.
To say it’s been a start, stop season for our talisman from last season is an understatement.
Celtic will have played 22 league games after tonight and Edouard has only played 90 minutes in THREE of those matches.
But it’s 3 games more than any of our other 3 strikers at the club.
Griffiths, Ajeti and Klimala have still to play the full 90 minutes in any Celtic game this season in all competitions. Shocking return.
In fact Ajeti has only played 90 minutes once since 2019 and that was for West Ham.
Klimala has also only played a competitive 90 minutes once since 2019 and that was for Poland U21s.
Griffiths has only played 90 minutes twice since 2019 and both those games were for Celtic.
It looks like Celtic are playing big wages for our strikers and are getting very little in return.

Not much they can do when lenny keeps saying they're not fit. Also he makes that many subs that the strikers have no chance of 90 mins. Is disappointing for eddy though. From the stats I saw he has 11 goals and 2 assists in 22 games. Sure you will correct me if I'm wrong buzz. A lot of negativity about him this season but injury, cv and self isolation have certainly not helped.

I make it Edouard has scored 7 league goals and 12 goals in all competitions for Celtic this season from only 25 appearances. ðŸ‘.

Less than one in two isn’t exactly impressive though is it?
