Just seen the SFA have declared the 'Resolution 12 matter' closed with no further action being taken.
Why Celtic never pushed this all the way, I will never know?
It may be seen as a sweetener after yesterdays celebrations, but I'm sure if the SPFL was our one official footballing body, they might have not been so obliging after the recent tantrums and timewasting by TRIFC.
SFA = Sevco-Friendly-Allies.

I can't understand it also why Celtic don't insist on justice Unless they know that It would bankrupt and ruin Scottish football if they pressed it? But still If I was Celtic I would at least want them to give a full apology for the EM mistakes that happened in the run up. I hope they have learned their lesson from that.

Another thing is why is it the SFA that is / was doing the investigation when it was about the SFA and oldco surely they should have moved it to an independent investigation? Will Celtic except the outcome? Or will they insist on an apology or more stringent rules for clubs to get a licence to play in Europe?

If the Res 20 folk sets up crowdfunding to take this on, they can count on me. This was a fraud committed against paying customers. How can the SFA be allowed to decide on matters that they are accused of?

Tony2bhoy only reason that mob were allowed to (in my opinion) reform in 3rd division is old firm revenue from tv rights etc.

On subject of tv revenue old firm generates for sky and pay per view, it would be interesting to find out. Have always thought SPFL should of revisited idea of own broadcasting network on both tv and streaming. Surely would only enhance our game due to increased revenue.

Lawell has previously said he's not interested. The scam ignored when all the evidence is there. Robertson still not sacked, Park not hammered for his mad rant at Doncaster yet everyone is against that lot.

19 May 2020 20:51:44
I would think Robertson will get voted off the SPFL BOARD or asked to step down surely. Going by the statement that the SFA released about the issue it would have to go to CAS that could bring down the SFA with costs alone maybe that is why Lawell won't push it But I do hope he has pushed for more stringent measures to be put in place for the future like now.

Something rotten about the announcement this evening .
As far as I know SPFL has had Resolution 12 for some years now . It seems very strange that the announcement was made within 36 hrs of the announcement re League winners announced .

There are some glaringly obvious questions that need to be asked but are not being asked:

1. What is in the 5 way agreement?

2. Has the 5 way agreement influenced the recent decision?

3. Why do our footballing authorities no longer have jurisdiction to investigate a club in its association for wrong doing?

4. Why have our own board not supported Resolution 12 and used their influence to get this heard?

5. Was there any other person, club or organisation complicit in granting Rangers a European License?

6. What was the legal advice given to the SFA that told them it was not worthwhile pursuing this at CAS?

Feel free to add more questions if you can think of them.
