I used to post a while ago but now I am mainly an avid reader. But I had to go register a new account to post.
I cannot believe the stick our own fans are giving Bolingoli. Yeah he had a sticky start but the boy is coming good. Everyone seems to be listening to the media. He hardly put a foot wrong in the AIK game yet he is being slated. Wasn't a penalty was a clear dive. Some of the armchair critics need to watch the game back and count his timely tackles and interceptions. But more importantly check how many times BB is left 2 on 1 because MJ hasn't tracked back. The issue isn't with the player its the set up. If you have two cavalier wingers you deploy a CDM to cover the FB's, we don't have two we have one so were unbalanced on the left. MJ is looking great but has a lot to learn about his overall game. Perhaps BBs biggest fault at the moment is not being commanding and demanding the help at the left he needs. He looked relatively good in the air, quick and strong his passing and first touch need work but he is no where near the disaster everyone is making him out to be. But full back ain't an easy position when your covering 2 men.
My second point is the defence we seem to be getting on to individuals but every good defence is built of a unit we need to get a settled defence that works together quickly. The individual errors come when the communication isn't there and the defenders aren't in sync. And I think were seeing that everygame. Prime example Ralston sleeping at a throw in his man runs off him. CJ commits himself and misses. It becomes frantic individuals trying to stop a goal rather than a defensive unit being in the right places and positions to stop the move.
Anyway rant over feel free to slate me now lol.

Exactly what IV been saying about boli but you said it better 😜 he also seems to get the ball more than others. He's set up a few goals and works hard to et the ball back more than most of the squad.

I despise what our fan base has become over the last few yrs, entitled little bitches that would rather slander and slate our own team and manager than get behind us and back new players, and it’s not just this season, happened with efe, boyata, lustig etc, our childish fan base are more obsessed with the tribute act across the road than backing our new lads and instilling confidence from the stands, self proclaimed best fans in the world my arse, I would put money on our fans wanting us to lose on Sunday so they can have a right good bitch about everything, they’re never happy unless they’re miserable, Lennon out, Julien out, Boli out, lawell out. Here’s an idea, why don’t you just let the real fans get back to doing what we do best, supporting our beloved team and backing them to the moon and back. I hope Ed posts this but can’t see it as it alienates half of the posters on here.

Very good post and it highlights the gulf left behind when we took KT and Sinclair for granted. The manager seems very keen to deploy MJ every week (with Morgan as back-up) ; however, we would be much more balanced if say, Taylor was installed as LB and Boli moved forward?
The defense has been our biggest problem for a while and we have also had three goalkeepers playing since day-one so the quicker we settle down and NL knows his best 11, the better for all.

Some fair points made however completely disagree about any real supporter wanting to lose a game ever and especially to them! If anyone feels this way they should never ever be considered to be a supporter of this great club. ever. imo.

A few bad passes and the boo boys are out. He's our new Effe, He's pish, not fit to wear the hoops etc. Feck the fickle fans and their pessimistic outbursts. Forrest for years had the boo boys on his case Glad the wee man has turned into the player we all knew was in him. ðŸ€.

Pud got to fancy the wee man to score Sunday? Him edouard and Christie all potent at the minute the big one for me will mikey Johnstone start we need heavy battlers and grafters in there could be a good player to bring on when the filth are Tireing and game getting stretched.

The fans have a right to criticise the club when the recruitment has been so poor.
We have known since February we needed a head of recruitment in place and the position was not filled until the first of July on a short term contract. That was one week before the european deadline for the first game, in what is a big season ahead for the club and our supporters.
If the players we brought in didn't make us weaker than last season, then we will do okay because we only conceded 20 league goals in 38 games. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the case. Hopefully the players will come good but early signs are we will be weaker in defence this season. It doesn't help when we are forced to play a midfielder in defence or a centre half at right back or our best midfielder at left back because the manager doesn't trust Boli and we have Jozo who can only play one game a week because of his dodgy knees. Jozo also can't play on the plastic pitches.
Celtic went into a European away game last night trying to ptotect a 2 goal lead with one defender on the bench because with a few days to go in the transfer window, we don't have the quality in depth for the season ahead.
I do think we will get players in before the window closes but my rant is about what has happened to our club up until now, is nothing short of neglect and me and other fans expressing our concerns does not make us any less of a fan than yourself and others who are willing to sit back and watch the club paper over the cracks.
And if we don't win 10 in a row, then what. Who will be to blame?
