Bitton is out of contract next Summer. He is 28 in October, so he has a good few years left. Give him a new 3 year deal because it looks like nobody else is coming in this window.

Bitton could be a player that will continue to get better with age because his game isn't about pace like most other players.
He takes up good positions and that happens with experience, which he showed in the first half against Motherwell, when he was always in the right place, when we were under pressure. It is also a bonus that he can play in midfield or defence, like on Saturday when we had no defenders on the bench after Ajar got injured and Bitton went back and covered.

If we keep giving players like Biton and Brown, new deals, players who slow play down, and offer very little in creativity, we are doomed, maybe offer Biton a reduced deal, to be used as an old fashioned sweeper, get that young Hearts left back signed up, if he is good enough, at sixteen to play for Hearts, and look good in league games, he can do it for Celtic as well, and develop from that.
