I'm getting tired of everyone complaining about the goals the team concede, as the late great Jock Stein said, as long as Celtic scored more goals than the opposition he was happy :)

Very naive post there mate! When u step up a level u can’t go in with that attitude. if we get through to play slavia Prague in the final qualifier with that attitude, we’ll get gubbed! It’s not complaining to say we’ve looked ropey at the back, it’s the simple truth! Boli has been pretty poor since he came in, and only ‘improved’ on Saturday because Motherwell didn’t attack much due to us playing well middle to front! It’s as clear as day we need competition in both full back spots and if it’s not addressed then IMO we’ll pay for it!

Stein also built a solid defence full of outstanding defenders.

So boli only played good because Motherwell played bad or because our midfielder played good.

How do we expect the boy to improve if everyone is always looking to knock him down.
It took time for him to setting into the game and when he did he was fine.
The game in Austria is slower than in scotland and it will take him a bit of time to adjust.
He almost scored from A volley and set up our 3rd and started the play for our 4th. At least give him credit for when he does something good as his confidence will never improve if we don't give him the chance.

Sounds like you've been playing too much fifa 19 with that mentality😂😂 should always be looking to win to nil. Modern football with this passing out from the back makes 95% of centre backs look suspect.

Selboy completely agree I think Boli will come good just needs the time to adjust. Instead of bashing him others should be looking at the good things he done during the game like you said almost scoring and playing well with link up.

One things for certain he’s involved in a lot of the play and once he finds his feet and settled down I think he will be a great addition to the team.

Exactly kev 👍🏼 Build from the back and Uve got half a chance!

Best teams always find a balance between both.

The old argument was to build a team around a strong spine and at present, we have two good front-men, Cal-Mac and Broony, Ajer Jullien and Bain. Broony won't last for ever, Jullien is finding his feet and is still unproven, while Bain is having a patchy period of form.
Once these issues are addressed or settled, we will see improvement.
