Moussa Dembele now valued at £50M a year after leaving Celtic for just £20M.
Van Dijk goes to Liverpool for £75M just 2 years after leaving Celtic for £12M.
Theres no chances these guys improved that much in such a short space of time. We massively undervalued them because we play in the SPL. Teams in Portugal, Belgium and Holland etc set asking prices much higher albeit their leagues are of a better standard.
Seeing what the likes of Wan Bissaka are valued at after 1 good season in England the minimum we should be looking for Tierney is £50M.
Theres not many left backs of his calibre in the market just now plus he would count as a homegrown player for English teams so make them pay the premium if they want him instead of caving at a bid of £20M.

Buster you’re 100% correct in everything you say there. But unfortunately the standard of Scottish football will dictate we cannot commas a fee of £50m for KT. I believe he would be one of the best in the league should he decide to move but realistically an offer of £25m-£30m will be accepted and more realistic.

Until Scottish teams start making proper money from TV and advertising, they will remain unable to command high fees for their players. Wan Bissaka isn't streets ahead of KT but Sky have ensured that Palace are rich enough to hold out for £50M instead of grabbing £25/ 30M.

I've always been of the belief if any team in Scotland who at least make the Europa league group stages, the value of any player should be judged on performances against teams they have competed against.
Time for all clubs who fit that category to step up and dig heels in for top dollar. We have been getting ripped off for years.

While KT is happy at Celtic, on a long term contract then we can set the asking fee for KT at anything we like. That doesn’t mean teams will pay it but KT is quality. The fact he plays in Scotland shouldn’t matter, if it really did then why is it big clubs like arsenal, Napoli, etc that are showing interest and not your Southamptons etc? We must demand top dollar for KT, this talk of £25 million being good is nonsense, and Arsenal’s bid of £15 million is a disgrace and an insult. I hope that bid puts tierney aff even considering going to them.
