Very good performance today - I thought Benkovic and Boyata were excellent again together (would be fantastic to keep hold of both) , Christie was again superb, and KT was his usual brilliant self, but the standout for me was McGregor - he really has developed into a fabulous player. The fact he is so versatile is also a fine attribute and so valuable to have.

They're a great partnership let's hope we can keep them at least till the summer.

Andy, Mally I can’t remember and would need a serious think about the last time we’d a better central defensive partnership than Boyata and Benkovic. Benkovic has the potential to go all the way and the centre half keeping him out the team at Leicester must be some player. Boyata has been outstanding recently. If we can keep both until the end of the season they will make a significant contribution to the points gap. Same as the Ragers goalkeeper will be worth points in double figures to them over the season.

Boyata has been a strange one for me last season I wouldn't have him even in the reserves all of a sudden this year he has been tremendous. Not sure why the change was it his part in the WC? Or what?

Boyata is a good defender when he cuts out the silly mistakes. I think Benkovic is better on the ball so having him dictate play from the back is speeding up our attacks as Boyata is a bit slow and indecisive passing it about.
